My son is this age right now (31 months) as of Sept 2011. He doesn't answer questions, or really respond the way Jack does. He's going to speech therapy. He can identify certain objects, colors and shapes, but I would never be able to ask him a question and have him answer. He doesn't really know his name.
Jack reminds me so much of my son! He says so many words the same way. (I couldn't hear exactly how Jack said "excuse me," but it sounded similar to my son's "me-me.") I'm around so many kids younger than my son who talk in complete sentences, so it is a bit comforting to see we aren't alone. I just saw another video of a child with Apraxia taking fish oil and I see Jack is, too, so I'm going to start being diligent about giving it to my son. Thank you for posting this!
Did you see an imrovement in his speech after starting the fish oil?
