for that guy that was a triple black and for the guy who said all double blacks are 55 plus degrees that bull cocky ... its rated by level of dificulty
@whtlizzard theres not very much skiing thats 55 degrees, double blacks are usually above 40 though, or very very narrow, this is pretty weak if its a double black
@snowyphil65 noooo way bro this is highline...one of the hardest most challenging runs at Vail, with moguls the sizes of slugbugs...it is very long and seems to never end
Each mountain rates the difficulty of the runs based off its own terrain. For this mountain this could be considered a double black diamond, meaning its the hardest run this mountain has to offer. That does not mean its going to be as hard as other mountains double blacks. Looking at the surrounding peaks this mountain does not look to be the steepest mountain out there.
Yeah srry to burst your bubble but that is definitely not a double black.... A doubleblack is defined as a slope of 55 degrees or more along with hidden rocks trees and so fourth many have rocky cliffs or drops... None of them have mojles they arnt ridden enough.
The bottom of the run is the steep part, I've done it.
Still only should be a single black though, it would be on the harder side of them, but hell, if Rogers run is now only a single black then this is also.
lol..... you couldnt see the whole way down... and that is steeper than you think.... still not a double black. maybe there usually is more unmaked terain.
dude videos make things look 20x less than what they are, for example, if you look at some videos with big jumps and you go and see the same sized jumps in real life you will notice that in the video it seems like no big deal but in real life it really is massive, samething goes here. Or maybe it is easy Im not sure, but I am going to vail next week so yeaa!
