Nice...I have the panasonic HDC-SD20. I love it. Takes a while to import and render the big MTS files it makes but the quality rocks. Just don't turn on the night mode and you are rocking.

^^ he just used the wrong settings because he*s a noob! for full hd u should use bitrates above 8MBits, otherwise u will see the pixel shit ^^

AVCHD Developed by Sony and Panasonic. You can output to MPEG-2 using the software it comes with but it is dreadful. With no choice of compression rate for audio or video. Really shocking poor software. Cracking camera. But you'll need something like ProCoder by Canopus to convert to AVI files to make the most of editing the files in Premier ect

There's a 'hack' where you convert to FLV yourself and when you upload to YouTube - it bypasses the conversion - so you get high quality video. It's on Google somewhere - even YouTube tutorials.
