Quite a disturbed and somewhat intelligent man. The police had to go at his pace to be able to piece the story together. I think that is somewhat intelligent. Although it is a very horrific crime to make on all victims. RIP For the men that had to die in this awful way.

@tom101177 you had a luck escape then. My father was a civil servant in the 1980's and knew Dennis Nilsen. Neisen used to bring "pork pies" into the office for staff - who did not know what they were eating or who they were eating!

Was this gut genetically related to Jeffrey Dahmer? Not only do they look alike but their MO's were similar,whether Nilsen ate any of his victims I don't know,yet!

He didn't feed Bleep his dog victim parts. He tried to keep her out of the way when he was dealing with the bodies. There was no dog food in the property as he had a routine of buying a can of dog food on route home after work.

@sharonloveish I believe he was cooking them to get rid of the flesh for disposal rather than for din-dins. He never showed any inclination towards cannibalism. The cooking element was for pure necessity rather than pleasure. I just find it bizarre he agreed to move into an attic apartment knowing how difficult disposal would be. Maybe he hoped the move would prevent him killing again, or perhaps even lead to his arrest?

@sharonloveish Yes, that much is true, it is only his word, but it seems to me his willingness to talk about the killings and disposal of the bodies suggests he has no reason to hide cannibalism.  I think this case is interesting enough without conjecture clouding what we know about his methods and motives.

@megawutt ..and they repeat an upcoming scene 2-4 times..up to the point of annoyance without seemingly ever getting to the point. If' u'd edit those bits out, the programs would end up being half as short.. The amount of times i have stopped watching an otherwise interesting american doc due to this standard nerve wrecking "trick" that they use, and evidently think it is making the story more intense and irresistible to watch, and it's all the reverse.

This reminds me of the John Wayne Gacy case or the Jeffrey Dahmer case. Both of these happened in the US I guess its just proof that these kinds of people are everywhere! So creepy!!

does anybody know the name of the film/documentary about Dennis Nilsen? I think it came out in the 80's.. its supposed to be very good? it may be out of publication now bit if anybody can remember the name so I can buy it on ebay or know a site where I can watch it, it would be greatly appreciated
