That isn't true. The deficit is a valid economic indicator and under Barack Obama, it has absolutely gone beyond what we'll ever pay.
Bill Clinton did a good job with the economy, and so did Harry Truman. But Carter sucked and throughout the 1970s, the economic hardships & stagflation came about because of LBJ's policies - he's a (D), but he screwed things up so bad it was over a decade before we recovered.

actually, life support works without a brain stem. my best friend died 9 years ago due to a broken brain stem, but he lived for 3 days on life support. his mom decided to pull the plug because she didn't want him to be a vegetable relying on a machine to live.
