lol there is a real emerald dream on a private server AND on a live server, its just in a whole different continent in a whole different world. .recal port emerald is how you teleport there i think from a private server. as for live servers im sure there are some ways of getting there that havent been discovered

Sadly, you're incorrect. Malfurion Stormrage is coming to Hyjal to help defend Hyjal because of the Cataclysm and the firelord himself, Ragnaros. But I can assure you that players will be able to go there in future content.

Queen Azshara would be cool to have as a boss in the game. But I for one got a little disappointed about the gret scorge anub'uar king Anub'arak gettiing placed in a early 70's dungeon instead of a end game raid. Bosses who have a history in lore should also be a end game raid boss in my opinion. Queen Azshara deffinetly deserves a end game raid spot for fx. 25 man.

Normally when in uncomplete areas/not fully loaded areas the mini map will jig around like that and then completely clear out, like what happens a few seconds afterwards(you see right through it) Or the section to be displayed on the mini map is bugged and flips out like that.
I saw trees from both Nagrand and Ghostlands in the video, and some of it looked Emerald Dream-like and some looked Burning Crusade-like and some looked Maelstrom-like. This video (unfortunately) proofs nothing =/
if you want to get there go on the Kamical Private server, you dont even have to go to the emerald dream cause you start there, for full exploration of the emerald dream first go to shatrath and then to emerald dream, its a glitch in the kamical server, you can fly in shatrath but after teleporting to the emerald dream you can fly there to, this is a glitch that is in real wow to, but the places are hard to reach and you cant fly in hole azeroth/emerald dream, this only works on private servers.
i had a frien who made his own server and we played on it... we both went to emerald dream and put mobs there(on that server).... at that time everything was green :D
lol, you cant get in there, ONLY GMs and Admins can do that. The Emerald dream is where the Nightmare Dragons is from, like Emeriss, Ysera and all the other dragons who comes and goes from thos portals.., they are guardiens for thos portals, however you cant get in to thos portal. i belive its the way INTO the emerald dream soon, and i really really hope The Emerald dream will be a complet place soon. if it will, im sure blizz will make it raid place for the new dragons.
It isnt Nagrand...That areas realy exist but arent reachable by common player....admins and gm can enter it ... and all depends on what repack is server using..I am not sure if this exist on retail but it does on Most repack....I mostly start with area Verdant Fields...

Actually I know some one that is a graphic designer for Blizzard. He says they are almost done with the landscaping and they are getting ready to detail the land scape. But it will take some time to put in all the quests, add the NPCs, and prepare for the future patches for 4.0.

P.S. Just because the mini-map goes empty, doesn't mean it's model edited. While this is clearly heavily edited, the original Emerald Dream files don't have a complete mini-map, just like a lot of things in WoW still don't have complete mini-map files because players aren't supposed to be in those places.
For everyone saying that this looks too close to Nagrand or other zones... keep in mind that the Emerald Dream is a reflection of Azeroth... the magical primordial world as it could have become had it not been touched by the sentient races of Warcraft.
No, you are right Neshovic, Nagrand isn't in Azeroth, it is in Outland, however Outland and Azeroth are closly tied together due to the dark portal and the two planets histories. It is highly possible that the Emerald Dream reflects this connection with a similar set up of realms in that version of reality.

Emerald dream was suppose to be the TRUE end game instance for vanilla WoW but The Burning Crusade was being developed at the same time. They had hoped to release it b4 BC but time wasn't on their side and they didn't finish. They dumped the Emerald Dream project as it didn't match with the TBC. Did anyone stop to think that this might just be the terrain artists' testing area? Emerald Dream might be it's codename but given that half these areas have striking resemblence to areas already implemented it stands to reason that at some point in the patch coding someone made an error, which caused this to be loaded onto people's computers. Since you can only access it easily on a private server, they never bothered to fix it. Some may be used in the future, but I doubt we are looking at ED.
Blizzard has already said they were planning to have the Emerald Dream in Original WoW. But for what ever reason (Most likely no time) they halted it.

Burning Crusade was released early in 2007. and Wrath of the Lich King came out 21months after that. so why not release the emerald dream in the same time as the Burning Crusade come out. This video is true, in its text restating what Celliddruid said. the emerald dream is indeed located in dragonblight, go through the portal at the Emerald Dragonshrine. Maelstrom and the islands south of it, are in fact coming up after the expansion. as they say. Only Time Will Tell

Bosses who have a history in lore should also be a end game raid boss in my opinion. Queen Azshara deffinetly deserves a end game raid spot for fx. 25 man.

Mount hyajl has actually got a portal to Emerald dream Check lore.
Emerald dream will be a Daily quest area, hold a city.
Have 2 Insatnces and 2 raids.
End boss will be Azshara.
Maelstorm will be the next expansion but it will be using Emerald dream greatly.

They'll put him in as a Main boss of a elite instance like The end of of a very hard raid like Ulduar.
Then again in BC there was three end bosses.. Illidan Archimonde Kil'jaeden. so who knows :P

Emerald dream will HAVE to be it's on expansion, it's what azeroth looked like before the worlds got separeted by the cataclysm, do you realize how big it would have to be?and how many things blizz would have to change i mean half the world is underwater already. the next one, due to leaked files on the internet, will be do to with the maelstrom but it will have the SOUTH SEAS u kno... undermind.. broken isles they will be the areas. at least from what's been discovered already it will.

Normally when in uncomplete areas/not fully loaded areas the mini map will jig around like that and then completely clear out, like what happens a few seconds afterwards(you see right through it) Or the section to be displayed on the mini map is bugged and flips out like that.

I saw trees from both Nagrand and Ghostlands in the video, and some of it looked Emerald Dream-like and some looked Burning Crusade-like and some looked Maelstrom-like. This video (unfortunately) proofs nothing =/

if you want to get there go on the Kamical Private server, you dont even have to go to the emerald dream cause you start there, for full exploration of the emerald dream first go to shatrath and then to emerald dream, its a glitch in the kamical server, you can fly in shatrath but after teleporting to the emerald dream you can fly there to, this is a glitch that is in real wow to, but the places are hard to reach and you cant fly in hole azeroth/emerald dream, this only works on private servers.

lol, you cant get in there, ONLY GMs and Admins can do that. The Emerald dream is where the Nightmare Dragons is from, like Emeriss, Ysera and all the other dragons who comes and goes from thos portals.., they are guardiens for thos portals, however you cant get in to thos portal. i belive its the way INTO the emerald dream soon, and i really really hope The Emerald dream will be a complet place soon. if it will, im sure blizz will make it raid place for the new dragons.

It isnt Nagrand...That areas realy exist but arent reachable by common player....admins and gm can enter it ... and all depends on what repack is server using..I am not sure if this exist on retail but it does on Most repack....I mostly start with area Verdant Fields...

thats the emerald forest.... same region but diff area. And yeah this is not it at all. The emerald dream is just a big blank green landscape like the details/terrain isn't e\/en programmed in. Just like the shape of the terrain but not the actual textures/details so yeah. The emerald forest is textured but neither are NOT ANYWHERE NEAR COMPLETE you can just tell Blizz is a multi-billion dollar company I doubt they will do shitty programming like this. JS its kinda a common sense thing

Actually I know some one that is a graphic designer for Blizzard. He says they are almost done with the landscaping and they are getting ready to detail the land scape. But it will take some time to put in all the quests, add the NPCs, and prepare for the future patches for 4.0.

P.S. Just because the mini-map goes empty, doesn't mean it's model edited. While this is clearly heavily edited, the original Emerald Dream files don't have a complete mini-map, just like a lot of things in WoW still don't have complete mini-map files because players aren't supposed to be in those places.

No, you are right Neshovic, Nagrand isn't in Azeroth, it is in Outland, however Outland and Azeroth are closly tied together due to the dark portal and the two planets histories. It is highly possible that the Emerald Dream reflects this connection with a similar set up of realms in that version of reality.

Emerald dream was suppose to be the TRUE end game instance for vanilla WoW but The Burning Crusade was being developed at the same time. They had hoped to release it b4 BC but time wasn't on their side and they didn't finish. They dumped the Emerald Dream project as it didn't match with the TBC. They might finish what they started in WoTLK ( The portals below Wyrmrest Accord?) or in a new expansion

Did anyone stop to think that this might just be the terrain artists' testing area? Emerald Dream might be it's codename but given that half these areas have striking resemblence to areas already implemented it stands to reason that at some point in the patch coding someone made an error, which caused this to be loaded onto people's computers. Since you can only access it easily on a private server, they never bothered to fix it. Some may be used in the future, but I doubt we are looking at ED.

No. that is a load of crap. Burning Crusade was released early in 2007. and Wrath of the Lich King came out 21months after that. so why not release the emerald dream in the same time as the Burning Crusade come out. This video is true, in its text restating what Celliddruid said. the emerald dream is indeed located in dragonblight, go through the portal at the Emerald Dragonshrine. Maelstrom and the islands south of it, are in fact coming up after the expansion. as they say. Only Time Will Tell
