If we are righteous by doing the 10 Commandments why did Jesus Christ come to Earth as the Redeemer? The video says we pay for breaking the Commandments ourselves. There is certainly some merit in much of what you have said in this video. The whole story of Job's persecution by Satan shows perfectly well thatSatan had to ASK permission from the Almighty to do those things to Job, and could not have done them without said permission.
But how about the fact, notwithstanding that you noted Jeremiah 6:19, that Job had done no wrong when Satan was granted permission (several times) to persecute him.?
One of the things that leads me to state that you have SOME merit in your views is the very fact that (as I believe, anyways, even if YOU don't), that Satan, who had rebelled, was cast out of heaven, and into the earth. For what purpose was he cast into the earth? Why was he cast HERE, when there is an entire universe out there. He could have been cast into the center of the Andromeda Galaxy, instead of "into the earth". So your statements have some merit...but only SOME!

There are several text reference errors in this vid. If you look at the first few chapters of Job, you see that the "test" as you call it, is something far different from what you say and in itself proves Satan's existence. God cannot perform evil, which is something you claimed he called Satan to do. God allowed Satan to perform evil acts upon Job to prove that Job really did love God, and bring glory to God, which was always Job's goal.

The references to Lucifer as "bright an morning star" are not in the original Hebrew translation of Isiah 14; 12. The original name is Heylel. Jerome (4th Century translator) used the Latin word Lucifer in its place. SO ---Lucifer (or Venus) has nothing to do with Jesus as the Bright and Morning star of Revelation. If you notice in Revelation 12, that the Dragon (or Satan) has 10 heads! But they all are part of the SAME BODY. It was later English speaking translations that got it wrong. The word Lucifer is also similar, in that it was mistranslated.

The point is "upon whom your hopes are set." This could also be Jeremiah, Paul, Peter, Zachariah, or even Pat Robertson if he was speaking to people in our own time. This is also why we are judged by the very words that come from our mouths. It is what you believe and what you say you believe that becomes your judge.

There are several text reference errors in this vid. If you look at the first few chapters of Job, you see that the "test" as you call it, is something far different from what you say and in itself proves Satan's existence. God cannot perform evil, which is something you claimed he called Satan to do. God allowed Satan to perform evil acts upon Job to prove that Job really did love God, and bring glory to God, which was always Job's goal.

i think it's a very typical self-centered human kind of thinking to believe that Satan was created simply for the sake of mankind. Satan is an entity, a spirit, whom God loved and thus made himself vulnerable to, leading to the pride, rebellion, and fall of Satan.

The references to Lucifer as "bright an morning star" are not in the original Hebrew translation of Isiah 14; 12. The original name is Heylel. Jerome (4th Century translator) used the Latin word Lucifer in its place. SO ---Lucifer (or Venus) has nothing to do with Jesus as the Bright and Morning star of Revelation. The name Lucifer is not in the original Hebrew text. This whole video series is built on crappy, misguided ignorance.

I am thankful you are studing but you need to study al litle bit harder, you are using it in your own interpetation, in luke chapter 13 jesus said he beheld satan comming from the heavens as lighting (barouq) in hebew and in greek as (astrapi) or (keravnos). in scripture it refers to as the great dragon or the great beast (keravnos)

@HisWordsAreTruth In many ways Job Did pass the test, but in others he failed too. But look at what happened to his friends- Bildad, Eliaphaz.and Zohar, these CLOWNS were in Serious Trouble. WHY? For attributing Job's troubles to God. In other words they BLAMED JOB and accused God of being behind the sufferings, and as a result God wouldn't even forgive them, unless Job prayed for them at the end. The evil that came upon Job DID NOT come from God. Don't make the SAME MISTAKE! Like the video.

@1993MovieMan I have paid attention, the Name "Lucifer is NOT in the Hebrew Text" It doesn't mater from what language or meaning it has. Krypton is where Superman was born. That is not in the Bible either. God does not tempt man. but HE does allow temptation to come. Satan (the enemy) was the one who accused Job and carried out the deed himself, not God. Contrary to the video: Job DID curse the day he was born: Job chapter 3 Now why did God let all this happen? To illustrate Satan's tactics.

Because he targets Job to TEMPT him.(like Christ) Satan is the ACCUSER of the Brethren, who WILL BE cast out from his office at the mid-point of the Tribulation. Rev. 12; 6-14. Now you made one assumption that is incorrect about Is. 14. Isaiah is a PROPHET. Chapter 14 is a PROPHECY of an EVENT TO COME not a HISTORICAL account.

Those translations don`t count for reasons I`ve already mentioned ! The Bible uses Symbolic Language on Many Occasions ! Christian Literalists read every word literally as " The Word of God " so they miss The Symbolism ! Notice it says " old snake " and says NOTHING about " Eden " ! Interesting ommission , no ?

But there is ALSO someone else mentioned in the context here, and that is Michael, the Archangel and Prince of the Heavenly armies. So would we have to assume that Michael is ALSO symbolic? In the book of Daniel we read that Michael will stand up during the end times to do battle in the greatest time of trouble the world has even known. Dan. 12;1 So there is a harmony here about a REAL war.

The angel that impersonated the serpent in the garden is not Heylel (Lucifer) or known by the name "Satan" according to accounts in books like Enoch and Jubilees. I don't have his name handy, but I will try to get it for you and the reference. But what I am saying is that the ten headed dragon in Revelation is a configuration of Many demonic forces. Enoch, for example lists Shemjaza as the Leader of that group he also names.

@1993MovieMan Another good point. The Church misinterpreted the Bible. The Pronoun Satan (Heb. Saw-tawn) can be used as a plural noun and often is. If you notice in Revelation 12, that the Dragon (or Satan) has 10 heads! But they all are part of the SAME BODY. In other words, there are many individual demonic entities attached to this Dragon that function independently with different tasks, the creature that posed as the serpent was not the ONLY "Satan" They even have individual tasks(names) too

If you want to educate people about the afflictions of a Believer or the Fight of the Flesh, that's different, but to be lumping everything together makes it totally misleading, especially your conception that Satan and Lucifer are different. Lucifer is "son of the morning", Jesus is the "Bright and Morning Star". Very different. The fact that morning is there doesn't make it the same. Jesus is NOT the "son of the morning", but "Bright and Morning Star". Anything else is twisted.

@BoldJonny The word "Satan" is not a proper name or title. The original word in Hebrew meant "accuser." The word was transliterated, rather than translated. It wasn't until later that a capital S was used for this word that sounded like "saw-tawn", thus changing it to a proper name. The original translators from Hebrew to Greek knew what they were doing. It was later English speaking translations that got it wrong. The word Lucifer is also similar, in that it was mistranslated.

@HisWordsAreTruth ..God looks at what we mean at heart when we pray or do things and He understands what or who we refer to when we are addressing issues. In some parts of the world Allah is God and even Jesus-believers in those parts use Allah to pray. But some ardent ex-Muslims have come to show us that Allah is not God (see Who is this Allah - GJO Moshe). Now, do you want to tell me that the Almighty does not reckon with those Jesus-believers who refer to the Him as Allah? Yahweh understands.

I would encourage you to teach what you know. Remember, teachers will have a lot to answer for in the day of judgement. If you have the grace, go and interview ex-Satanists, occult members, people who have dealt in esoteric arts and compare your results with the Bible; Pls, stop teaching this topic.

Jesus says the devil come to "kill, steal and destroy". If Man was capable of resisting the devil why did Jesus have to come to his help. Satan bound a woman and Jesus loosed her, what was that woman's sin? Hey buddy, it's either you've not read your Bible very well or you're reading from a different Bible. Satan doesn't just administer "tests", he's ready to "destroy you, steal what you have and ultimately kill you" So that you can't glorify God as God wanted. Satan always resisting the good.
