I don't think that's a duck? I think it's a goose. It's neck's too long to be a duck. Not that I've ever seen a live duck or anything, just when I went to china town once they had some ducks hanging in the window and their necks were way shorter and they were more cooked and tastier looking.
@mentalozy There are different breeds of ducks and geese. Like the Pygmy Goose looks like a duck. But genetically it's a goose based on it's DNA and ability to breed with other geese. The ones in the parade are Indian Runners ducks. Kinda how for dogs, chihuahuas and malamute are different breeds of the same species. Even though a Malamute looks like a wolf, they can't breed together. [there are hybrids but that is done in the lab]
I have morals and principles, these people don't and it seems that neither do you. Ask yourself seriously if this kind of thing is morally acceptable. If you have any principles, you will find it is not.

its an indian Runner Duck they are skinnier and taller like ferdinand off babe. You don't eat them, you probably saw peking ducks
