@hadla Maybe she can see a little bit but not that well since in the beginning from 0:08-0:13 that some of the kids can't see very well (maybe they can see but their vision is a little blurry) and some kids can't see at all.
OMG, thank you SO MUCH for posting this!!!! I have been looking for this for years!
I was born visually impaired and I can still remember how it felt for me to one day see this video when I was a little girl and it suddenly hit me: I was like these kids; I was different (in a good way) and because I was different, people might not understand sometimes how I see the world. Thank you again.
That bus at 1:09-1:13 is the same style as the Brockton Area Transit in Brockton, MA, and Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority buses in Quincy, MA
When the whole class is singing "If You're Happy And You Know It" at the end, it's nice that the kid in the dark jacket at 2:05 looks and probably is very happy since he's shouting "hooray" and then clapping since they were clapping at first then shouting "hooray" but, he did both which probably made him look and feel more happy.
I also remember the song and the rain in this skit. The only thing I wonder is that, if all these kids are in a school for blind kids together, I wonder why that kid at 2:25 said they should go home instead of saying that they should go back to the classroom at school because of the rain. Unless, maybe they were finished with school and were just having fun in the park before those teachers dropped them home themselves instead of the kids parents picking them up.
Yes, I just thought that it could also be a family field trip. I thought that it was a class since at 0:05, one kid mentioned in the background in the class some kids can't see very well and some kids can't see at all which made it sound like it was a class taking a walk in the park to test the kids. (Maybe one of the adults is the teacher, and the rest of the adults are the kids parents).
another idea-- its a residential school, cause I know a lot of schools for the blind are-- I am in university and there is one just across the park from my school! even young kids sometimes go to them. This bothered me as a kid too!

NYC Transit didn't get RTS buses (shown at 1:10) until at least 1981, so this clip couldn't have been from the 1970s.

@LarryGastropoleau The Brockton Area Transit and Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority had the same RTS buses and still do sometimes.

I love SS nostalgia!
BuddyBoy, I wanted to see the skits where a kid draws a picture of another kid posing for him/her. (My first pick is the one with Amelia)
