I have been a staunch believer in that any woman that uses abortion for a non emergency/rape/incest reason should be given all the necessary tools to perform the abortion by herself without assistance unless of course her stupid sperm donor stuck around and then he would be permitted to help. Barack Obama is supposed to be a Christian. Christianity dictates that abortion is wrong in the first place. Pro-life. A baby is God's gift to you. As a christian and pro-lifer, I actually agree with many of her points. When either side distorts facts, it is wrong. That said, abortions are rarely done for the 'health' of the mother. Those that are....it is a separate debate. Life is life. Everyone believes life begins at conception...the debate is, whether a 'human' begins at conception...I mean human in an abstract sense, not literal.

There is a problem with your syntax, because humans are not abstract beings--in fact, "being" is not abstract at all. Abstract is apart from concrete. Unless you feel that you are not real, there is no 'human in the abstract sense'.

@ronhovde5 Sorry for the confusion...by abstract, I meant like the word citizen...you can't touch it, feel it, etc. To allow a woman to abort a baby(fetus), the baby cannot be a human being in the eyes of the law, otherwise it would be murder. The unborn therefore are not fully 'human'. That is the debate...when does a baby/unborn/fetus become a full human being. Thanks for pointing out my own, pardon the pun, abstractness in language.

You cannot take too far the end of an innocent life. What is a volatile issue is that pro-choice= belief that killing a baby is a "woman's choice." Yet, what choice does an unborn baby have? It is completely subject to the whims of the mother. I've worked with babies born at the same gestation as those who are killed with parents and medical personel who fight for that child's life. What's the difference? Honoring LIFE.

The vast majority are first trimester? Gianna Jessen was just one person. The doctor had the right to NOT to treat her after she survived. That's ONE TOO MANY! So the ads for the bills he voted against were out of line because they only would have saved several abortion survivors? That's your logic?
