    Loving it.

  • President Laura Roslin: You have Pegasus, he has Galactica. Two heavily-armed, very powerful warships. Now, I am sure that Pegasus would prevail in any fight-

Commander William Adama: [interrupting] -I wouldn't count on that-

  • The last thing any Cylon unfortunate enough to look out of the Window at 2:37 saw before being blasted into Oblivion was the word PEGASUS!

If this isnt a 'Frak you! In four FACE, Toasters.' kind of message, I dont know what it is.

  • If Lee only knew he would not have needed to give up the vipers, then Pegasus would be still standing, all well :/

  • What Exactly where the New Galactica's Offensive and Defensive Capabilities ? What were the Ribs supposed to do ? How much Armor was Pulled off if it for other Battlestars ?

Wha twas teh new Pegasus's Offensive and Defensive Capabilities ?

  • I wonder if Lee Adama was as bad at driving cars as he was at driving battlestars, that'd be one hell of a mechanics bill lol!

  • The moment you see Pegasus enter the picture after the camera was zooming away from Galactica and the Basestars. That music that plays just definitely fits on how badass Pegasus really was.

  • 1:46 epic

  • I used to think it was plain dumb for people to jump out of their seats and applaud during a favorite scene of theirs from a movie. I now appreciate their enthusiasm because the scene starting at 1:46 made me jump out of my couch and literally shout out, "YES!"

  • 0:36 is the raw power of the galactica and pegasus also 0:52 just think if the virus failed oh imaging the power lol

  • Using the element of surprise, couldn't the pegasus have destroyed two of the basestars from a distance before moving into the fray on it's suicide run giving a better chance of survival for both ships. Pegasus simply has tons of firepower shown by it's front salvo of cannons, surely it could have destroyed more while all the raiders and missiles were occupied. btw, Cain is going to be spinning in her grave over this

  • This is why you don't lend Lee Adama the keys to your Battlestar.

  • I watch a hell of a lot of Sci-fi... no space battle compares to this.

  • My brother said the sound cylon raiders make gets annoying, yet he can stand the noise TIE fighters make!

  • @d4rkd4nger I know that, but I'm talking about using an empty ship as bait. I know this situation was different, but still.

  • That was just pure awesome!

  • It was awesome watching the Pegasus firing all her guns during the Sacrifice.

  • 1:32

No words can describe the awesomeness of this scene.

  • I was really convinced the galactica was fukd, probably one of the best scenes I have ever seen when the pegasus comes out of nowere

  • 1:53 Basestars: It's a trap!

  • For such a promising series they really screwed it up. That series finale was complete bullshit.

  • The missles flying into frame then the reverse of Pegasus with the drum music is bar none my favorite moment in the series.

  • I almost cried watching the sacrifice of Pegasus.

  • BSG has the space fights ever seen in a scifi movie or tv show. I love the scene when the Galactica is under heavy fire and the Pegasus arrives and shooting this base star into pieces.

  • Nice one dude. Captured all the best bits, especially the Pegasus suicide run.

  • Good job man, no annoying music

  • For all the comments bashing the destruction of the Pegasus, Lee didn't really have a chance in saving the ship. Like Bill Adama said, Lee left all his birds to protect the fleet. A battlestar is very weak without viper protection. Taking potshots at the Cylons would only work so well until the raiders came after it. Lee knew it was a one way trip. The Pegasus was sacrificed to save the survivors

  • Finally, a video with the original audio. Thanks a million

  • 1:46 one of the most bad-ass entrances ever!

  • @Complainer45 because Galactica IS weaker. Galactica is obsolete (don't forget that she was intended as museum ship) and she has weaker armament. Pegasus was newer, Mercury class battlestar with FAR more powerful weapons (forward batteries was able to make heavy damage on basestar with only couple of shots). And Pegasus was called "The Beast", not Galactica

  • The Pegasus has mad Fuckin Aim!

  • this battle rivels star wars ep. 3 space battile, thumbs up if you agree

  • this battlerivels star wars ep. 3 space battile, thumbs up if you agree

  • When Pegasus comes in at 1:45 it looks like a pissed off bull.

  • Ok so when the Pegasus jumps to that ambush it takes on three basestars at once and could jump away yet when it takes on four with Galactica's help, cripples one when Pegasus arrives leaving three basestars vs two battlestars and since Pegasus alone is more than a match for two baseships Galactica being older could hold off the third long enough for both to jump away back to the fleet. Not flying the Pegasus into the firing solution of all three basestars at once!

  • @SirFact thats true.. im soo dissapointed after rewatching the show why they would sacrifice such an awsome ship. Lee could have used his forward guns to just hit them up again. Using his FTL to jump a little farther and then attacking using the forward guns ripping the basestars apart like it did when it first came in. it would have been amazing. and if that happened, they would still have both Battlestars.. arggh! They both could have FTLed away.. oh man :(

  • @gester27 it takes some time for the FTL to charge up, if they did the cylons would likely get reinforcement (they have a lot of the basestars).

  • Thanks again for the vanilla clips. Watching these really astounds me how they made an entire show with such superb graphics, easily rivaling anything in the theaters. You really can't tell they were just running on a TV show budget.

  • pegasus was a beast!!!

  • monkey poo!!!!

  • Resurrection Ship Pt. 2 showed that Battlestars working together were no match for the cylon baseships. Hence, the they turned to subterfuge and sneak attacks to bring down the Colonies...

  • The Pegasus was a shitty ship and I'm glad she never got to see earth! Fuck Yeah!

  • @IUseUtoob4Pr0n No way. Pegasus was a more modern ship which required just half the crew of Galactica to operate. I wish Adama had abandoned Galactica and gone to "the Beast" instead. You gotta admit that would have been a good decision.

  • @macnos

Probably not. Pegasus had a violent and immoral history. I mean it saw it all. It was party to rape, violence, torture & murder. It lived by the sword and it died by the sword.

Pegasus was fated for a violent death.

  • @macnos I agree This would have been the best descision. Pegasus had an onboard Viper Factory for frak sake, you can't pass those kind of resources up. Heavier hitting guns, better (I 'm assuming) Medical equipment, better draydus and tracking ect, just supirior in every imaginable way. Also as far as I know it was biggger and could have housed more people in the event it had to. That raptor factory alone would have been the descision maker for me. The galactica was ready to retire honorably!

  • Gotta say I was a little disappointed with the way the series evolved towards the end. The 1st and 2nd season were good, but in the 3rd season things started to go a little wrong. In the end, it was a total mess, with character development and drama allover the room and that fucking nauseating religious mysticism and pseudo-philosofic was fucking everywhere. And the ending was complete bullshit, particulary with the whole "starting over"- concept

  • Yeah I can 100% agree with you the show just went in a total... wtf direction and to be honest I lost interest in watching it towards the end and as for the final episodes.... wow... lame.

  • Yeah like, couldn,t they come up with something diffrent than the whole "revelation" about colonials and cylons being the ancestors of modern humans. I know they wanted to pay homage to the original series, but did they have to sacrifice all plausability to that end. What I find to be a complete load of BULLSHIT is that everyone thought Lee had the right idea at the end

  • @ElensarFFXI BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • you are totally wrong the series rox all the way

  • pegasus is so ugly Galactica is better

  • what a hackjob ;-)

  • I think its funny that ppl get kinda mad about the Pegasus being destroyed considering in the original series shes destroyed in the episode where she finds the fleet, I like that they kept the Pegasus around for as long as they did and i think they did a great job on deciding how the Pegasus was to be destroyed. Yea sure shes was much more advanced then Galactica was but she was the flag ship not Pegasus. And Lee was more concered about saving his father more then anything,

  • In the original series, Pegasus is only assumed to have been lost; it's never actually seen on screen.

  • I really like the moment of the Pegasus charge on Cylon

  • Thank god you don't edit the sound at all as I really hate changing the original music.

  • The cylons wouldn't really care if one or two of their ships blew up because no one dies, its just an inconvenience. The only way they could save the Galactica and all her crew would be to put the Pegasus in way of any attacks. The Galactica did a fine job in the 1+ yea plus leading up to this, they didn't need 2 huge battlestars, thats just a drain on resources.

If the Pegasus had just stayed at ranged and picked of the basestars then they wouldn't have bothered to stop on Galactica.

  • Comment removed

  • Um..Okay? Gotta say I really don,t understand your locig here. How do the colonials NOT need two battlestars? Seems to me there was a number of occasions, where Pegasus would have been very useful. Also, If you watch the scene , you see that Dualla informs Lee, that the baseships HAVE already changed their focus on Pegasus, after taking out that one baseship from afar. But Lee orders the manouver anyway! You can see Dualla is completely awestruck by the stubidity of this plan.

  • Well good guys can't have nice things. lol

  • It was a matter of saving the human race. It cost a battlestar.

  • @d4rkd4nger It would still have been better had Pegasus picked the basestars off at range, since the Pegasus would have been a greater threat than the already-crippled Glactica. And the Cylons would have stopped firing on Galactica one way or another, they'd have to have face the new threat, diverting attention from Galactica. If they didn't, Pegasus would have destroyed them- no better way of keeping them from destroying Galactica.

  • @d4rkd4nger

....Until the Galactica destroyed the Cylon Resurrection Ship.

    Then, the Cylons were screwed!

  • @d4rkd4nger If the Pegasus hung back and took potshots, the Base Ships would do exactly the same thing---to the Galactica

  • @d4rkd4nger I know it's been a year since u posted this comment, but i just want to say that the humans could have used that as an advantage. Just put a ship in front of the cylons with no one inside it, and while their busy shooting an empty ship, just shoot them off at a distance...or are they cylons smarter than that?

  • @d4rkd4nger negative. Galactica was a carrier style Battlestar (yes all were) but its main function was a heavly armored carrier its weapons are few and far from the pegasus wich was one of the "newest" style that was created. the pegasus had much more firepower as a ship but MUCH less armor. if the pegasus what in galacticas position it would have been destroyed before they would have even seen the basestars fireing. also it never would have held together on entry to the planet.

  • @xerodegree

yea, your wrong, Galactica might have been heavily armored at one point, but it was a decommissioned battlestar, all armor that was unnecessary to keep it held together in atmo was taken of, you can see this by looking at the Galactica and seeing all those ridges all over, compared to Pegasus which is still a fully armored Battlestar

  • @d4rkd4nger Battlestars of Galactica's class were protected by ribs covered by armored plating designed to catch and detonate incoming ordnance away from the armor and hull. Newer battlestars were covered with smooth armor plating. The Galactica also has the ability to project a broad cone of energy, wide enough to cover much of one hemisphere of an Earth-sized planet, that is powerful enough to destroy ballistic missiles and their nuclear warheads, the Pegasus did not.

  • @xerodegree

where are you getting this stuff from?

  • @d4rkd4nger wiki and BSG encyclopedia

  • @d4rkd4nger hahaha

  • @d4rkd4nger

There are 2 facts you should heed:

1.) Both Battlestars fill the same role: battle star. aka gunship and carrier. Both have heavy artillery - but placed differently. galactica carries hers on her back in those emplacements of 2x4. Pegasus has a more even distribution along her hull. Pegasus IS newer though it stands to reason her guns are simply better.

2.) both ships take nukes to the face and keep on trucking. So armor cant be weak on either.

3.) lee is a fckn idiot.

  • @d4rkd4nger he's pulling that energy thing from the original series...lol

  • @xerodegree Just thought i mention this cuz we both saw that 3 Basestars were firing everything they had at both Battlestars and they failed to destroy either one of them. Sure enough damage was done to Pegasus to make them abandon ship, but did they actually destroy Pegasus itself? No, Pegasus sacrificed itself to save Galactica, as well as her crew. It went out with style, i might add. But, now to ask a question. Where do you get all this information? Dont tell me it's Wikipedia

  • @d4rkd4nger Galactica's armor was standard for the first and second generation Battlestars (Razor) those ribs are where the point defense batteries are placed. if one had the time to watch Razor the flash back of Galactica had the exact same armor setup. besides during the miniseries they never mention removing armor plating from the Galactica Just Ammo from the point defense and Main Batteries. note even the rib sections are well armored

  • @xerodegree I'm not sure where you're getting that from. I read on the BSG website that Pegasus had 2x armour and 2x firepower of Galactica. I will agree with you that the Galactica is shown to survive much more of a pounding than Pegasus on screen. Then again she is also a 'lucky' ship. Technical aspects in science fiction are full of inconsistencies anyway (Star Wars beingh a prime example) so I try not to rack my brains too much about it.

  • exactly how is Pegasus less armored? It's taken nuclear hits and still continued fighting. In the miniseries the Galactica is almost destroyed by a nuclear hit.

  • @ikosabre Thats because there was a fire that threatened the viper fuel lines. We lost a few carriers in WW2 by torpedoe and bomb hits that ignited aviation fuel that was still in the fuel lines. if the fuel lines had been pumped the carriers would have survived.

  • @d4rkd4nger

They could have converted one to large, armoured and armed ferry.... and dump smaller ships. Also it was Pegasus which required less crew, less maintenance and was newer and in better technical condition than Galactica ever could hoped to be.

  • Why in name of everything that is frakked up did Lee have to charge KAMIKAZE style like an idiot in middle of all those baseships. Couldn,t he have just kept Pegasus in fringes of the battle and keep the baseships attention just long enough for Galactica to escape. Whats even more puzzling is that after Galactica had clearly jumped away, Lee stayed behind for no good reason. I t seems to me that the colonials just saved 50 years old bucket-of-a-warship by sacrificing state-of-the-art warship.

  • And then change the series' name to Battlestar Pegasus? The Adama's had to keep Scifi's interest in mind, and thus saved Battlestar Galactica.

  • More seriously, Galactica's mission was to rescue the civilians and enabling the ships to break orbit without getting destroyed by the Cylon Basestars. Pegasus had to guide them form there as Galactica wasn't likely to make it back in an all-to-well-state. Pegasus couldn't just simply fight the Basestars off by just shooting. He had to give them a reason to make Pegasus their prime target.

  • That would make sense, if not for one tiny detail. In the scene, Dualla informes Lee that baseships have changed their focus from Galactica to Pegasus, after Pegasus took out one of them from afar and are coming for it . So the baseships have already changed target, but Lee orders the ship to go directly for the center of the baseships anyway. It,s a useless fucking manouver.

  • 2:21

Has anyone noticed that massive gash on Pegasus's starbord nose area?

  • Yeah, it looks like its armor got breached pretty bad there. And a Raider or three kamikaze'd it.

  • Pegasus should have stayed at long range and picked the basehsips off one by one as opposed to charging into the middle like that.

  • Fascinating that this small Battle between 5 ships has more power and looks so much cooler than the whole opening scene of Star Wars 3

  • Six if you count the Galactica itself.

  • Then i overlooked a basestar, i'm sorry.

  • Well, there were two starting, and then two more jumped in. The Pegasus took out three total. The Galactica, meanwhile, took off.

  • The one you overlooked, I think it's the one in the foreground at 2:03. There's that one (to the Pegasus' port), the one it crashed into, the one destroyed by the Pegasus' starboard flight pod and the one the Pegasus was initially firing on.

The flight pod was indisputably the starboard one. The port one clearly broke in two when the Pegasus exploded.

    ...So yeah, four basestars... XD

  • Well then there were six ships.. still this battle, in my opinion, is far more intense than the giant battle in Starwars3.

  • And that had thousands of ships in it. No kidding. Thousands. Many thousands.

I agree with you in full. Six ships is A) way more tangible, not too out-of-comprehension B) much more well-played C) subject to a badass, tear-jerking kamikaze of an entire ship.

  • @Talon3000 It probably has something to do with the fact the Star Wars physics depart so radically from reality, the space battles look comical. Also, the Star Wars film editing in Episode 3 was distracting and ridiculous. They killed the drama of the battle with that distracting hand to hand fight between R2D2 and the Buzz droid.

  • Pegasus was my favorite ship like that big mass of guns etc but at least they didn't give her a crap send off i think that's the best send off for a ship going down on fire but manages to still take out two basestars even in death!

  • ARE u nuts galactica is the best by the way i hate the new one i think the old one is way better

  • @ 2:35 Final message of Battlestar Pegasus to Cylon Basestar: FRAK YOU!!!!!!

  • I love pegasus, cannot see when its destroyed.... :'(

  • @ roaklin

they would never win this war (the atlantia and her fleet were the best of the best and without the virus they would have blocked the entire attack and win the battle with the reinforcements from the scorpion shipyard (were 3 mercury's 2 columbia's and 2 valkyrie's lie when it was attacked and multiple fire/strikestar's)

  • long live the frakkin beast, man.

  • What this video does show is that with out the virus upload, the cylons would have had a much harder war on their hands taking on the fleet.

  • this movie has caused that i'm driving my ship in nf(kittakami) with two forward "8 main guns and full flag gun arment on the side arm's

  • I still have trouble accepting the Pegasus is gone :-(

  • They had to tear down the Peggy sets to make room for other scenes in later episodes so they made her go out in style and since they weren't about to rename the show she was destroyed.

  • oooh

  • agreed the only ship with viper production... flight sims... etc... he shouldve kept his distance using his fwd batteries to lay waste to the basestars... hell launch a few snookes

  • Comment removed

  • Its all about pride, he stayed with Galactica because it was his home. People in the armed forces often feel bonded with the ships/vehicles/aircraft they serve on. For example, the battleship that was named after my state. If I were to become an admiral, I don't care about how outdated it is. It would become my flagship, sometimes old technology can be the most useful when it's time has passed.

  • You're absolutely right. They also kinda needed to throw away the Pegasus set for the Basestar set but that kinda dilutes what happened.

But yeah, Lee could've trashed all those bastestars (Hell, an F-16 could've trashed a basestar because they're damn fragile) and jumped away with Galactica but they gave her a good send off.

  • Cylons ships are pretty tough except against a battlestar's main cannons. They are a high impact explosive type shell which can do massive damage. The cylons didn't have access to the stuff the colonials did so they tried to make an organic armor which works against every but the cannons. Thats why the cylons did the whole virus thing because cylon ships aren't much in ship to ship combat against well armed and armored battlestars

  • I would have the USS IDAHO in the US Navy or I would have the HMS Luton in the Royal navy, old and out gunned but I love them, what ship would you have.

  • The battleship named after my homestate. the USS Massachusetts

  • HMCS Haida poor girl took a licking and kept ticking, a lucky ship that sits down the street from me. Or the HMCS Bonaventure. But only because American pilots were afraid to try landing on such a short deck... while we had no problems. I hope Canada buys one of the new Ford class carriers from the U.S. We've been too long without one

  • @crazyfrywad same here, if i ever had the ship of my choosing it would be the battleship Texas, she fought in WW1 and WW2, and in the event of a WW3 she will fight in that too

  • I never did get that. Why sacrifice the more powerful ship and retain the "ancient" outdated Battlestar as the flag? It would be simple, abandon galactica and move personel to the Pegasus or Jump out, ram galactica in a last ditch effort. OR just have both Jump out when Galactica is able. When she jumps, Pegasus is still on the outskirts of the battle. MORE than able to jump (hell BLIND jump and rendezvous with the fleet afterwards). I just dont get it...

  • Military decision, Adama takes commad of Pegasus as the flagship of the fleet, obviously a more powerful ship, rename it galactica ffs...

  • 1:29 - 2:00 Best Scene...EVER!!!!

  • Yup. You know that Galactica can't be finished yet, but the perspective of her "falling" and Bear McCreary's music makes you *feel* like she's going to.....and then gets you amped again when Pegasus comes to the rescue.

Best shot of the whole series.

  • thanks! been looking for that last scene that hasn't been butchered

  • Same here!

  • What awesome directing...panning back from the BSG getting pounded by three base stars to the Pegasus' missiles entering the screen, then the infamous BSG drum music kicking in...pure genius.

  • Couldn't the Pegasus just have jumped just before it hit the baseship? The Spatial distruption would have destroyed it. (Remember Boomer's Raptor tore a hole in Galactica by jumping too close)

  • The only reason the Pegasus didn't jump at that point was because its FTL was damaged. That's the best possible sit-rep I could think of.

  • It would have probably destroyed the Pegasus too with the amount of damage it had taken during that fight. Battlestars are strong but they're not invincible.

  • @d4rkd4nger how many basestars do you think pegasus could take on if it had that prototype energy shield it had in the original series?

  • @d4rkd4nger Sadly we will never know that. I would have liked for it to jump out at the last second with no trace, it would have been a great tribute to the original series

  • The writers hadn't thought of that yet. :D

  • Pretty sure Pegasus's FTL was damaged along with most of the rest of the ship during the rescue. Plus, it only had a skeleton crew and even the guns were on auto-fire. Perhaps they didn't have the crew or navigators available for it.

  • I wish people would add the part where the galactica first makes contact with the pegasus on youtube.

  • ticonderoga from starship trooper yeah ricoooooooo!!!!

  • bsg for ever

  • 1:29

  • pegasus entrance ftw

  • When it zooms out from Galactica getting beat on with the sad music then in the quiet you see the salvos from Pegasus zip buy and tear into the Cylons... pure genius.

  • Yep, i love this scene! One of the best of BSG! :-)

  • @xylaphonemaster yes it was. and just like in the original series, the Pegasus goes down swinging taking as many of those frakin' cylons as they can along the way

  • its to glichy in its makeing poorly done vid but nice effort tho should just let it run sceen from escape from new cap instead ripping it around like that

  • In my opinion this is the most epic ship battle ever :D and at the same time the Galactic was doing it's atmo jump...just... awesome.

  • The destruction of the PEGASUS was probably the saddest and most heartbreaking thing I've ever seen on tv.

  • amen to that.

  • it would of been so beast if she FTL right before she hit the base ship.

  • Ron Moore says FTL was offline by time of collision. That being said it made no tactical sense how the battle was conducted.

A hit and run move strategy could have kept the base stars engaged long enough for the Colonials to escape. Destroying the base stars was never needed.

  • damn u lee for your poor battle tactics and sacraficing the only ship with simulators, ship production shops, refinery, and others...

  • it would of been good if they kept it yet what a way to go taking out 3 ships with it! (if the first ship you saw it fire at was destroyed)

  • Too bad they've sacrificed Pegasus. He's a way better than this ship wreck -Galactica

  • should of used the colonial anthem

  • I thought this was a very good series...watched every single episode from start to finish when it aired. Shame its over now...but hey...I've got seasons 1-3 and 4.0...just need 4.5 and got Razor as well.

Favorite episode...Resurrection Ship...both parts. Battle scene is frakin awesome :D

  • yeah exactly cahtljd. I just about crapped my boxers when the first few rounds were fired from the pegasus. and then sending it into the middle to tear up a few more base ships. icing on the cake. It would have been cool if they could have taken the pegasus and traded out galactica. pegasus is newer, more room, much more firepower, but then they would have had to change the name of the ship and all sorts of other stuff i guess. most probably adama didn't want to box up all of his stuff.

  • If I had that ship, I'd get it reinforced to withstand a baseship impact, so it wouldn't blow up!

  • hey, the kinetic energy involved in the crash is in order of hundreds of megatons.......

  • So you're saying... It's KEW ammo was layed out on the ship set to detonate? (I haven't seen the episode)

  • I just realized, at 2:36 the flight pod didn't flame up, it mashed 3 cylon raiders.

  • nothing makes my 8=====3 move more than watching peggy fire her fwd batteries and decimate that basestar,,, what i dont get is why they made it so she flies str8 into the center...tactically speaking firing her fwd cannons from distance wouldve destroyed many of the basestars w/o losing the ship itself... peggy was hot

  • Galactica was taking massive amounts of damage at the time. If Pegasus stayed further away from the battle they would have lost Galactica. For all intents and purposes they were using Pegasus as a shield to get Galactica out. Lee knew that it was a one way trip.

  • well i mean if pegasus had stayed away and fired from distance it wouldve t least drawed their fire... and if they still fount d it necessary to fly into the middle when the fleet and galactica jumped away they shouldve jumped....i mean think about it... galactica whos hella old took that beating and a jump into an atmosphere then jump out?? pegasus shouldve been able to...

  • There was a load of basestars. Think Pegasus was seriously outgunned. Plus they were short on crew.

  • i just dont see the logic in sacraficing a brand new superior battlestar when there was prob other options to save the entire fleet

  • That's a valid point. But the reason that Pegasus didn't go was because Lee thought that the entire thing was a suicide mission. He actually advocated leaving everyone on New Caprica behind. If he commited Pegasus to the battle, they would have dropped her into the atmosphere instead. Really, the reason that they didn't sacrifice Galactica in exchange for Pegasus was because the name of the show ws Battlestar Galactica and not Battlestar Pegasus. Besides, both of them are way to powerful anyway.

  • guessing all the others left before cus hoshi is still there after.

always good when lee comes to save his dad, bless him :-)

good vid cus i broke that cd and was going to cry about it!

  • BSG space battle scenes just get your F**KING pumped! It must be the mix of gritty sci-fi and the primal drums. Definitely the best actions sequences on TV. I wish they would have more battle scenes like these.

  • I love that episode, so intense. First time I watched it on TV I went batsh*t insane when Pegasus showed up. It was really hard not to cheer if you were caught up in the moment.

  • Pegasus rams the basestar, but i only saw 4 pods launch before she went crunch(pardon the pun).

  • That was everyone on the CIC, everyone else had already evacuated.

  • ty for uploading cant beleive i missed this episode. epic battle of valour. 5*****

  • I love the fact that this is in the category "Howto & Style"

  • Well maybe it's "How to" destroy a ship in "Style"? =)

  • someone know when will be another hallf of season 4? (sorry for my bad english i hope u understand:-) )

  • first or second week of January, I forget which.

  • Jan 16th, a Friday On Sci Fi

  • I still smile whenever I see 1:48 -And I still get sad when I see it ram the basestar.

  • I love the scene when lee meets his father back on Galactica.

    Adama: You disobayed your orders.

Lee: You know me, never could read your handwriting

  • I didnt like seeing the Pegasus go.

But still what a way to go IN A FINAL BLAZ OF GLORY WITH GUNS BLAZING!

  • What im wondering is if adama knew that therewas ahugechance ofgalactica dieing, wouldnt he have transfered his nukes and such to pegasus for safe keeping? Seems a waste of precius nukes to risk them in the New Caprica Rescue.

  • Well, Adama knew he could hold off two basestars long enough for the civilian ships to jump. Things went down hill when another two jumped in and the Galactica had lost their jump drives. It was always a tough fight, but it turned hopeless when it came 4 on 1. Until the Pegasus rocked up.
