the thing i don't get is why did they turn into towards it?

thats because the chance of capsizing will be less then 1 procent then, because a ship can hardly capsize over it's length, it would just ran into the wave and continue sailing afterwards. there would only be some damages at the front section of the ship, broken windows ect. but that's less worse then a capsizing situation.

slowing it down in windows movie maker gives a very slow framerate, i should add more frames to the movie in the 3d program, not a hard task ;)

Hey, it's a brilliant animation! Until this vid I didn't know exactly how Poseidon capsized in the movie. With 5.1 Surroundsound and a big TV, action zooms around and confuses you.

i was wondering in the movie why the bridge came out of the water again after i saw it was completely under water, so i figured out that the ship almost rolled over completely

I noticed that too, and that's where I got confused. I thought the ship struck the wave, only listed and went 90 degrees on its side, then went into the water, like the case in my Imperion sinking, but the bridge was rising up out of the water, not down.

i used cinema 4D for this movie, and the design is an exact replica of the poseidon from the 2006 movie made by wolfgang petersen,

i checked your accounts and you have some very nice movies :D

and a little hint: search the keywords for information, some people like me put the programs name in it, if not, see if there are credits at the end which shows the needed info, but you can always ask, and every question is welcome :P
