  • look up the term minimalistic music, and this violin concerto is what it represents!

  • Most Philip Glass makes me think of documentaries about the universe.

  • The violinist has a lot of intonation troubles through bars on 14 section. (3:00). They are indeed brutal.

  • This is actually a seven-minute etude of chords, followed by a melodic coda.

  • Why does this feel like some nine minute long cadenza...just with background parts, lol.

  • i think its interesting for a concerto like this to have the violinist not really even have a melody. i find it quite unique.
