I know, it's not creepy as in violence. I mean it's terrifying because of the detail and the side stories that weren't in the anime. For e.g, Onikakushi-hen. They all thought the mother was the murderer, but it turned out the girl was the one with Hinimizawa Syndrome. Highly disturbing, but a very good manga.
