#1 I'll start off with the easy one: The Quran does not call ONLY Jesus sinless. According to the Islamic doctrine, ALL PROPHETS OF GOD are indeed sinless. NOW, that doesn't mean that they didn't make humane mistakes, and repent. Remember, the prophets are indeed humans, and humans are limited in knowledge, among other aspects.

HOWEVER, the fact remains that we still have the original source if we need to verify said translations. Unlike the Bible, which has 100s of VERSIONS, each different from the other. Some Bibles have 60 books, while others have 70. Some Bibles contain the verse 1Jn. 5:7, while others tossed it out as an interpolation. Bible differ in verses, and verse numbers.

@33heis No Islamic source, actually, any source, states that Uthman wrote ANY Quran. What Uthman simply did, was compile the QURAN from various sources, (ie tablets, leaves, etc), unto a COMMON source (paper).
He got help from Hafsa, the wife of the Prophet, Zaid, a hafiz, who lived with the prophet throughout his life, and many other "memorizers" of the Quran. Any manuscript of the Quran that didn't match the Hafiza's (the ones who memorized it) manuscript, was obviously destroyed. SIMPLE.

the verse clearly ask Mohammed to ask people who read the books before him,there is no mention to gospels or torah,

This is the exact reason Allah didn't protect these words from distortion and omission. First point to be noted is, there is no reason to go back as Quran is absolutely perfect. Second point is, there does not exist a copy of the Injeel. Today's Bible is not Injeel. The are 1000's of versions of the Bible available and no two are alike. Some have John 5:7 and some omit it etc etc. So which one do u trust to be the real one??

They all prayed to and preached about the One True Single God just like Muhammed (peace be upon him). #1 I'll start off with the easy one: The Quran does not call ONLY Jesus sinless. According to the Islamic doctrine, ALL PROPHETS OF GOD are indeed sinless. NOW, that doesn't mean that they didn't make humane mistakes, and repent. Remember, the prophets are indeed humans, and humans are limited in knowledge, among other aspects.
#2 Different Translations of the Quran?

@resultant64 this up. Of course there are different translations of the Quran. Translations, is after all, a choice of words. HOWEVER, the fact remains that we still have the original source if we need to verify said translations. Unlike the Bible, which has 100s of VERSIONS, each different from the other. Some Bibles have 60 books, while others have 70. Some Bibles contain the verse 1Jn. 5:7, while others tossed it out as an interpolation. Bible differ in verses, and verse numbers.

@33heis No Islamic source, actually, any source, states that Uthman wrote ANY Quran. What Uthman simply did, was compile the QURAN from various sources, (ie tablets, leaves, etc), unto a COMMON source (paper).
He got help from Hafsa, the wife of the Prophet, Zaid, a hafiz, who lived with the prophet throughout his life, and many other "memorizers" of the Quran. Any manuscript of the Quran that didn't match the Hafiza's (the ones who memorized it) manuscript, was obviously destroyed. SIMPLE.
