I know it's not a diesel, but my 96 F350 4x4 with the 7.5 460 will smoke the tires at 30mph and the only mods have been minor. The motor is all stock.

They are pretty aggressive(not bald asshole) and there was no ice on the roads at 83* in august. Smartass.
Saw this on the silver lake sand dunes this weekend. I think it broke because I saw it make one pass on the drag strip then it was being towed away by another truck. Do you if and when Merchant Automotive is having their Spring Fling.

you cant have the both you either have a common rail pump or a P-pump why cuz the common rail only has one line coming out of it to the rail and pumps constantly unlike the P-pump where it gets a breather between cylinders (very small I add) and has a line going to every injector its not possible to have both no one has built it

My only gripes about the dodge are the 48RE and the cheap looking interior. Other than that, brakes, mileage, CUMMINS, steering, etc, I love. Plus I like the solid front axle on the 3/4 ton dodge.
It looks kinda like he needs a bigger turbo/more boost. A couple of his the pulls he gets on it and most of the black smoke goes away, but then it starts to come back towards the end. To me that seems like the trucks turbo is not boosting any more because of the wastegate, or is out of its effieciency range.
the new 6.4 and 6.7 engines suck no one who buys them are gonna put them under the knife. yeah there are pussy tuners out there and exhaust kits that won't take care of that stupid EGR. ok ok the ones we should be hatin is the those green tree fuks... lets blow smoke in there faces... to get back to business, dodge does have cummins best engine, ford does have great room with there crew cabs. so why no put them together?
I don't know, those twin turbos can pull 25,000LBS. You have to have a very powerful truck to do that. And fords the one! The 6.4L's hual butt and the 6.7L won't be released until 2011
Fight nice ladies, first - the ONLY thing Dodge has going for it is the Cummins engine. The Ford SD is a better truck, and with the Cummins, it's the best truck. The new 6.4L twin turbo diesel Powerstroke is a fantastic engine, but is NEW, and will require real life testing for reliability, and longevity as the Cummins has proven. Stay Tuned.
The 6.4 is ok if you like getting 12mpg, other than that its just, my bone stock 03 Common rail Cummins is getting 18-19 city and 22+ highway... Power, mileage, reliability, cummins makes Duramax and Powerstroke look like wind up toys
if you like getting 13 mpg, thats is why i got the banks chip installed on my '99 F:250 now it gets an incedible 21 mpg city and around 24-25 highway. oh i forgot to mention that it has three settings on it too. extreme, performance, and work or somin i don't use that one. anyways i can spin all for tires on it.
let me ask u a question. i just bought an 08 ram 2500 with the 6.7 liter cummimns turbo diesel. i want a chip that can give me good gas milage(i changed my mind), give me good power, and let me be able to shove black smoke in the faces of ass wholes in convertiables. do u know wwhere i can find 1
stick with Banks they have doing it the longest, have teh best and know what there doing. and get an air intake as well more power and fuel mileage and less smoke (smoke is wasted fuel)

You are completely wrong. Ford bought 15% stock back in 87 then tried to say they were a majority owner to get cummins to stop selling to Dodge because the Powestroke is a very insuperior motor, 1 court date later (6 months) Ford had to sell all the stock to cummins, cummins has not forgot and will now never sell their products to Ford. Cummins is the most purchased motor for the big rigs, something must be right about them.

well i guess im wrong i read at one point that ford had a large share of stocks, the had the most but not the majority. i now realize that if ford did own a majority of that company than it would create a monopoly being illegal.

If ford owns cummins then why dont they put cummins in their truck? Oh thats right cummins wants a good truck to hold up like a dodge instead of a ford!!! All the dodge trucks my family has ever own never had tranny problems. My ram V-10 has 230,000 miles on it with no tranny problems. I know a guy who had a F-250 Superduty and the tranny went out with 85,000 on it! Dodge all the way!!!!!

you are right.. cummins aint owned by anyone.... but Ford owns the shares to cummins. cummins dont build the dodge truck dodge builds crappy parts and ugly trucks for the good cummins engines.. all those trucks need is a good tranny to hold up to the cummins from factory.

i know the guy that owns this truck. he took it to the 1/4 mile track and ran it one time bfore the turbo blew. it ran in the 10's i belive. this truck is sweet

My only gripes about the dodge are the 48RE and the cheap looking interior. Other than that, brakes, mileage, CUMMINS, steering, etc, I love. Plus I like the solid front axle on the 3/4 ton dodge.

It looks kinda like he needs a bigger turbo/more boost. A couple of his the pulls he gets on it and most of the black smoke goes away, but then it starts to come back towards the end. To me that seems like the trucks turbo is not boosting any more because of the wastegate, or is out of its effieciency range.

the new 6.4 and 6.7 engines suck no one who buys them are gonna put them under the knife. yeah there are pussy tuners out there and exhaust kits that won't take care of that stupid EGR. ok ok the ones we should be hatin is the those green tree fuks... lets blow smoke in there faces... to get back to business, dodge does have cummins best engine, ford does have great room with there crew cabs. so why no put them together?

I don't know, those twin turbos can pull 25,000LBS. You have to have a very powerful truck to do that. And fords the one! The 6.4L's hual butt and the 6.7L won't be released until 2011

Fight nice ladies, first - the ONLY thing Dodge has going for it is the Cummins engine. The Ford SD is a better truck, and with the Cummins, it's the best truck. The new 6.4L twin turbo diesel Powerstroke is a fantastic engine, but is NEW, and will require real life testing for reliability, and longevity as the Cummins has proven. Stay Tuned.

The 6.4 is ok if you like getting 12mpg, other than that its just, my bone stock 03 Common rail Cummins is getting 18-19 city and 22+ highway... Power, mileage, reliability, cummins makes Duramax and Powerstroke look like wind up toys

if you like getting 13 mpg, thats is why i got the banks chip installed on my '99 F:250 now it gets an incedible 21 mpg city and around 24-25 highway. oh i forgot to mention that it has three settings on it too. extreme, performance, and work or somin i don't use that one. anyways i can spin all for tires on it.

stick with Banks they have doing it the longest, have teh best and know what there doing. and get an air intake as well more power and fuel mileage and less smoke (smoke is wasted fuel)

i don't know...and quite frankly I'm tired of people arguing and bitching about a Cummins engine in a Ford Super Duty. It would be more helpful if you took the Triton V8 badges off the truck and put Cummins C emblems on the truck. That would pretty much solve anyone's problem, wouldn't it?!
