This is really awesome and inspiring for me to start a Night Lords army :P I was debating between Emperor's Children and Night Lords, now I know what to do ha. The only thing is the Night Lords don't like Daemon Princes or worship any particular god so I might look the other way when playing berzerkers or whatever lol.
@IzualMTG Thanks! I'm glad it was some inspiration for you! I think that they have a great background and love the two novels that have already come out for them. You're right about things you can't have in your army, but you could justify those by saying that the demon prince was attracted to the army by the carnage they were causing and wants to tag along for the ride, or you can model and paint the berserkers as Night Lords that Khorne is slowly corrupting them.

@IzualMTG No worries, sir =D Have you read the two Night Lords books? They're full of great fluff and insight into their character. I really like how they tread the line between psychotic, murderous butchers and spurned sons of the Emperor. One of the main character's squad mates is even very obviously being corrupted by Khorne throughout the storyline and their Captain and warleader is quite possessed by a daemon of Tzeentch (I believe it is a Tzeentch daemon...) Great stuff!

They've pretty much devolved into bird-like sub-humans, with their pack leader being the only one that still has some semblance of sanity, albeit very tenuous and seriously twisted. They were actually the first 40k books I've ever read, and I've been reading 40k books ever since!
@IzualMTG Another fluff-friendly reason you might include berzerkers is the fear factor. Night Lords love their terror tactics, and they could definitely see the usefulness of a horde of rampaging berzerkers to instill panic in their enemies. Thus, they could've easily wrangled a squad from the already-splintered World Eaters into joining them in a raid - Just keep them in a traditional red & brass color scheme, with a dark blue shoulder pad to show they've been recruited by the Night Lords :p
@ShinKyou918 Yup, thats a great idea. It will give your army an even fluffier feel, as most Night Lords despite religious fanaticism of any kind (Khorne) included, your army will have a distrustful tension between the zerkers, Daemon Prince, and actual Night Lords, which would make it a really interesting army that feels alive and has its own story.
@WarbossTae ah there realy nice, with the resin the detail is so mch better andif your usin citadel undercoat spray paint, the paint falls so much better than the material before!
I painting my Raptors in a Thousand Sons theme, but I'm stuck on what to use to highlight the armor, I've gone with a base of regal blue, followed by 50/50 enchanted/regal blue, followed with a coat of enchanted blue. I was thinking hawk turquoise and ice blue?
@Callum1143 Excellent! I think your color scheme is spot on, while I was reading your post, I was thinking along with you, "hawk turqoise and ice blue". Let me know how it turns out! I love the color scheme for the 1k Sons!

@WarbossTae ok sure to things though a im a bad painter and they look to dark for sum reason b i need to get raptors and a tripod sooooo it might be a while till i do the vid but i will experriment with normal chaos marines soo ye nice video i enjoyed it
Actually the Raptors are now available in Finecast. They were part of the first wave that came out Memorial Day (has it been this long already?) They are probably way more stable and don't fall over as easily as the metal ones. Great video as always!
