  • I'm pretty sure that was my buddys car did you get the car with a 4 point role bar set up the guy that owned the car i speak of worked for manta part and then moved to fortwayne indiana then sold the car.

funny thing is where going to look at a 1992 gtz today to start a new project.

  • i know this car well this car was in ohio ended up in indiana if this is the same car?

  • @hitmanws6 the shell of the car did come form ohio but not sure if its the same car your thinking of cause it was built here in indiana. its not something that should even be a street driven car anymore.

  • my buddy just bought a 1990 GTZ, things killer. 2.3 quad four, shaved block, ported and polished. over sized pistons, valve job, esm superchip, lower coilovers all away around, after market pullys. he wants to turbo it next.

  • Ive tossed around the idea of a turbo as well but i think im gonna save that for when i swap this Q4 into a new body, this ones starting to rot away

  • sounds good man right on... 3.1 would be better tho thats waht my retta got

  • @Pennywise why would you want less power from a bigger motor? GM quads owned the 90's for sport compact power. yes i know this is a 2 year old comment, oh well.

  • I liked it until the rev...

  • agreed it sounds like ass when its reved.

  • sounds fucking mean

  • What exhaust is that? That GTZ sounds great!

  • its a home built full 2.5inch to a cheap autozone muffler exhaust

  • first instinct was not too bad..but upon revving sounds a bit ricy, which is no bueno especially on a domestic

  • Kinda hard to not be "ricey" when it's a four-banger.

  • a gtz shouldnt be a four banger

    should be a 3.4l i believe

  • a 1990 GTZ came with a 2.3 quad four. meaning its a four banger. last i checked (about 20 minutes ago when i did the oil change) its still a 4 cylinder.

  • oh... the GT is a 3.1L and i thought the z would mean z34.... sorry.

  • @stupidplants 3.4's didn't come out till 96 which was the last year for a beretta. Quads in the gtz era had more power then any of the 60 degree v6 engines. Faster, lighter, higher revs, better torque. better choice.

  • Got to love the W41 idle! Badass engine and badass car! great clip!
