  • I for one am happy that this bust occurred. I just don't think the Irish are themselves unless they are in a recession. The boom was a pain in the arse, versace tiles for your bathroom, ski trips - all bullshit. Now I suppose we'll just have to be happy with what we have...............relief.

  • @SuperGroundControl so you are happy that thousands of people have lost their jobs and cannot pay their mortgage, heartless bastard....

  • @bannerboymitch - I'm one of those thousands you're on about and have a 1/4 million mortgage, but what am I gonna do - cry in my beer? I have my health and I no longer have to hear boring gits drone on about their new decking or their houses in marbella anymore! Twas a dose - and if the recession brought that on, then it can't be ALL bad!

  • @bannerboymitch - P.S - lighten the fuck up

  • @SuperGroundControl might as well....

  • @SuperGroundControl might as well....

  • "Place to the west of Wales and Scotland", heh heh, something's conspicuous by it's absence, very funny.

  • Let this be the anthem please

  • Poland reporting :D

funny thing I'm actually thinking about studies in Ireland, and I'll have to find some creepy work there noone wants to do

    yay ^^

  • @gilotyna815pictures Honestly chap there aren't many jobs for anyone now so that snobbishness has gone towards working. Though if you definitely need work while over here you definitely need to stick to the urban centres. Dublin/Cork/Galway and you might have a chance but not exactly peak economic times.

  • @conorsmurf Oh no, I'm not moving to Ireland now. Like I said, I'm thinking about it. there's still a high school ahead of me, but I like to plan ahead, and I'd like to study in Ireland, or Scotland, or somewhere nearby to practise English and perhaps learn Irish or Scotish. But you never know what tommorrow serves you, so it's more like a dream or idea or whatsoever.

  • @smurfalongwithme I think it was just a couple of Ulster gentlemen.

  • "now we are poor again..." lolololol

  • is this actually the real anthem? it has chips and vodka in it? if its real... man im jealus

  • Superb "Sometimes it's heaven, sometimes it's hell but I'd rather be Irish than anything else" Intelligent, satirical, funny and true. It take takes the piss out of modern Ireland and yet still shows a genuine affection for the country.
