Mk23 are nice but they cant show me an extra grand by just giving me ambidextrous controls , bigger trigger guard and a longer barrel. Not to mention I actually carry my usp tactical from time to time concealed, try that with an mk23, im sure it can be done by would be labor intensive to say the least.
the socom is for SD(silenced purpose) n better than the USP in recoil n accuracy while usp was desinged to be portable and have damage probably one of the (on of the not the best) high damaging guns
The range I go to lets people practice with the lights out if you're alone. I sometimes practice trying to acquire the target once I flick the light on. It ain't easy and I ain't getting any better at it!
@KsClan1234 The ammunition this gun fires is called .45 ACP, which stands for Auto Colt Pistol, because Colt designed that round to be fired from the Colt 1911 pistol.
First stop calling them silencers, there suppressors as no device can completely muffle the sound of a firearm discharging just "suppress" it. Also civilian ones and Military ones operate on the same design and function, Mil Spec may just come down to materials for durability, but I bet with further research I'm wrong and there made with exactly the same materials and by exactly the same companies as the civilian market ones like so many things in the firearms world.
@jamesandthegiantpea No, they are the same, and can be legally purchased in some states, including here in Oregon. All shapes, sizes, builds, etc... Sure, there are different types of suppressors, but no difference both from an engineering standpoint or legal standpoint between mil and civ suppressors.
Also, the .45 ACP is naturally subsonic, you don't need to buy subsonic ammunition if you're purchasing relatively standard loads.
buddy this pistol looks great... i own a usp compact. but if i buy a glock 21 - then pimp it with a better trigger, sight and grip i got a better gun for a cheaper price.
if you dont mind my asking, what glove size do you wear? you seem to have good control over the recoil. I wear a size M glove, and I feel the grip on my USP-T is a little too big. then again, I have only shot 10 rounds out of it (damn ammo costs). also, where does your right thumb come to? mine is about even with the rear of the mag catch. thanks
i have no gloves to compare, Hks grips are big, but as u get comfortable shooting them u will get use to the size. my hands are regualr size, no big mitts here.... shoot shoot shoot and buy all the ammo u can
well, a 1911 is mostley chambered in .45 ACP, the .45 Auto is more penetrating. I guess, you have got to test it for yourself, everyone got his own demands to a gun, but the USP is smaller, not that heavy, got double that much in the magazine (usually, unless you buy a double stac 1911). The 1911 is narrow.
Well, go and test it for yourself, that's the best way to figure it out!
well, to begin with, hk usp, is lighter=>easy to use, it can also carry more rounds that 1911s, and usp is compatible with more cartridges than the 1911, usp->9X19mm para. .45 acp, .40SW, .375 SIG, 1911->.45 acp and .38super
i went with USP 45 because of capacity 12+1 over 1911, over all weight, safety can be actuated with hammer flush or cocked(unlike 1911), built in decocker into the safety lever, polygonal barrel, decent accuracy without going into custom guns, reduced felt recoil 20%. I would've gone with Glock 45 +2 floorplate 15+1 capacity if not for my hammer gun preference. 3300 rounds so far, ~500 of which were reloaded, not 1 malfunction *knock on wood.
I agree. USP are ridiculously expensive. Its more economic to get a 1911 or a glock. Glock comes in all calibers so if you want .45 you can get that too. That flashlight and laser combo this dude has in his USP can go as high as $400. Thats almost a complete other handgun. 1911 never failed me. But might make a move to the glock.
the mk23 was designed by the request of the US SOCOM, for its reliability and decent stopping power but some operators preferred the usp instead because it is smaller and more compact
GREAT VIDEO! If there was one regret I have in my life, it's selling my USP, I still have my Kimber but I miss "Diane". Great recoil control too...kudos friend!
i dont like it better than my 1911, but i do like it alot....it is alot different than my 1911s....shoots just as good, but is bigger and holds more rounds. i use it as my house pistol and i would trust my life to it
Nice vid, and even nicer hardware =) I was considering the Tac at one time, but ended up with the Elite. The longer sightline is more useful to me than the option of a silencer. Still, both great guns. HK know what they're doing and we get to enjoy it =)
Dude... the day that I got to shoot my first gun, which was a CZ 85 (I didnt want act all noob like by asking what videogame guns they had), was the day I realized the video games have nothing on real life guns... Best one so far was me shooting the monster that is the Barret..
Nothing is more satisfying than creating a nice and tight group... better than getting the handcannon and CT in RE4 :-)
I'm thinking of getting a USP and I like the longer threaded barrel, but I don't need the sights or trigger stop. Can I buy a tactical barrel and use it in a standard full-size USP? Or would it ultimately be cheaper just to buy the tac?
its going to be cheaper to buy the tactical version up front. I've read that the Tactical's barrel doesn't go into the regular USP. I know that the two utilize completely different slides & I'm pretty sure mags too.
Resident Evil 4: Its a popular horror video game. Don't sweat it. The reason I like H&k is because of Metal Gear Solid, another video game. The video game generation my friend
With the H&K usp tactical barrel length 5.09" H&K usp expert barrel length 5.19" and the H&K MK23 barrel length 5.87" I would think the longer barrel would stabalize the round and be little more accurate and reduce the recoil, why one would choose the tactical over the expert or even the the Mk23 is interesting just a thought but either way H&k controls lol
You know what a disarmed "free" county turn into?? WW2 style enslaving death camps!! Look at preWW2 Germany!! Get out of there while you still can!!! You have lost your ability to save your country!

but those 'gangsta' CUNTS are still killing people and ruining it for the rest of us who would love to legally own and shoot firearms here.
