  • Mk23 are nice but they cant show me an extra grand by just giving me ambidextrous controls , bigger trigger guard and a longer barrel. Not to mention I actually carry my usp tactical from time to time concealed, try that with an mk23, im sure it can be done by would be labor intensive to say the least.

  • the socom is for SD(silenced purpose) n better than the USP in recoil n accuracy while usp was desinged to be portable and have damage probably one of the (on of the not the best) high damaging guns

  • The range I go to lets people practice with the lights out if you're alone. I sometimes practice trying to acquire the target once I flick the light on. It ain't easy and I ain't getting any better at it!

  • I mostly like the USP save for the Iron sights. So over all I prefer the good ol' Colt 1911A1

  • a damn sexy gun.

  • Looks like boyd coddington at the range ;) cool pistol

  • What does the acp mean after usp???

  • @KsClan1234 ACP isnt part of USP, it part of .45 ACP, the bullet it shoots.

  • @KsClan1234 The ammunition this gun fires is called .45 ACP, which stands for Auto Colt Pistol, because Colt designed that round to be fired from the Colt 1911 pistol.

  • dude i used to love the USP tatical but with H&K coming out with the H&K45 JCP it feels obsolete

  • What ammo are you shooting...never seen such smoky ammo that didn't use black powder....

  • @hkross05 +1 I figured somebody would catch that... It's the internet, I wouldn't get upset about seeing comments like that.. heh.

  • plus military grade is not always the best, in many casses you can get much better.

  • i want a usp tac sooo bad

  • First stop calling them silencers, there suppressors as no device can completely muffle the sound of a firearm discharging just "suppress" it. Also civilian ones and Military ones operate on the same design and function, Mil Spec may just come down to materials for durability, but I bet with further research I'm wrong and there made with exactly the same materials and by exactly the same companies as the civilian market ones like so many things in the firearms world.

  • @jamesandthegiantpea No, they are the same, and can be legally purchased in some states, including here in Oregon. All shapes, sizes, builds, etc... Sure, there are different types of suppressors, but no difference both from an engineering standpoint or legal standpoint between mil and civ suppressors.

Also, the .45 ACP is naturally subsonic, you don't need to buy subsonic ammunition if you're purchasing relatively standard loads.

  • dude i know, years ago i commented that sorry

i realize what i said now i will remove my comments F, start an argument and it last millennia!

  • buddy this pistol looks great... i own a usp compact. but if i buy a glock 21 - then pimp it with a better trigger, sight and grip i got a better gun for a cheaper price.

  • @Wiggling ...Pimp it? Right. Moron.

  • tuning? isn't that called pimping?

  • if you dont mind my asking, what glove size do you wear? you seem to have good control over the recoil. I wear a size M glove, and I feel the grip on my USP-T is a little too big. then again, I have only shot 10 rounds out of it (damn ammo costs). also, where does your right thumb come to? mine is about even with the rear of the mag catch. thanks

  • i have no gloves to compare, Hks grips are big, but as u get comfortable shooting them u will get use to the size. my hands are regualr size, no big mitts here.... shoot shoot shoot and buy all the ammo u can

  • @bunnykicker2413 n My tactical seems to flip up more than my compact.

  • do you know the date code on the side for what year it is? I am just wondering if I have to track one down or just place an order with HK.

  • 2004

  • dude....where did you get that usp tactical from?

I would love one with the earth tone setup like yours. Can you send me a message or something?

  • probally have to special order it from your local gun shop and 1200$

  • @navyman8903.... Postal1911 is correct, Special order is needed. $1297.99 (or there about) from your local Marine Corps Exchange.

  • hey, I dont want to sound like a newb or anything but I wonder which one is better, the H&K USP .45 or the S&W 1911 .45 ?

  • well, a 1911 is mostley chambered in .45 ACP, the .45 Auto is more penetrating. I guess, you have got to test it for yourself, everyone got his own demands to a gun, but the USP is smaller, not that heavy, got double that much in the magazine (usually, unless you buy a double stac 1911). The 1911 is narrow.

Well, go and test it for yourself, that's the best way to figure it out!

  • well, to begin with, hk usp, is lighter=>easy to use, it can also carry more rounds that 1911s, and usp is compatible with more cartridges than the 1911, usp->9X19mm para. .45 acp, .40SW, .375 SIG, 1911->.45 acp and .38super

  • that is a big ass pistol

  • i went with USP 45 because of capacity 12+1 over 1911, over all weight, safety can be actuated with hammer flush or cocked(unlike 1911), built in decocker into the safety lever, polygonal barrel, decent accuracy without going into custom guns, reduced felt recoil 20%. I would've gone with Glock 45 +2 floorplate 15+1 capacity if not for my hammer gun preference. 3300 rounds so far, ~500 of which were reloaded, not 1 malfunction *knock on wood.

  • I agree. USP are ridiculously expensive. Its more economic to get a 1911 or a glock. Glock comes in all calibers so if you want .45 you can get that too. That flashlight and laser combo this dude has in his USP can go as high as $400. Thats almost a complete other handgun. 1911 never failed me. But might make a move to the glock.

  • I just can't get over the recoil reduction built into this pistol, amazing.

  • bad choice

  • I have this gun, and may i just say I LOVE this gun!!! it's my second favorite in my collection behind the spas 12

  • Shoot faster!

  • He is shooting different targets.

  • Come on now....what civilian really needs a tactical gun....isn't the standard USP enough?!

  • no (A) people like putting silencers on their handguns :P

    IT--

  • OHHHH your scary D:> Please don't beat him up with your internet fists of fury

    Fuckin Internet Tough Guys

  • btw whats the difference between the mk.23 and the USP

  • the MK23 is a much larger version, and is made to use with gloves. people i know say the usp tact is better and the trigger is better on mine

  • the mk23 was designed by the request of the US SOCOM, for its reliability and decent stopping power but some operators preferred the usp instead because it is smaller and more compact

  • nice talk for a child, you must be 10 pathetic.

  • thats a game not real life,by the way try a real gun not no nerf bb toy bs first.

  • thought that was a mark23?

  • dayum tight i wnna get one. what kinda lite you got there?

  • streamlight

  • Did you really need the light during the day? Does it help you compensate just a littlt bit more(if ya know what i mean,he he).

  • No, but some models have a laser aiming module too.

    :D

    Digg that.

Also, it does add in a bit of weight which can help with accuracy.

  • an helps kills zombies to at night hahah

  • Is a .45 ACP good for home defense?

  • yes its a good pistol to get u to your rifle

  • can i steal this one from you. :D

  • considering its a class 3 weapon i wouldnt recommend that

  • It'll make a hole LOL.

  • lol, yeah i believe it would.

  • it's what the cops use of course it's good for home defense

  • .45 acp :DDDDD ...yes if you live in usa

  • Nice pistol. Which light do you have on it?

  • streamlight TRL-1

  • GREAT VIDEO! If there was one regret I have in my life, it's selling my USP, I still have my Kimber but I miss "Diane". Great recoil control too...kudos friend!

  • With that background music you need to wear a tuxedo for the full effect.LOL

  • I am so envious of you if thats a reactive target range you have at home, well and the gun, i cant afford a USP, but i love my SA XD.

  • XDs are fine pistols also, yes my partner gato has a 50 target reactive range with a cover and nightlights just 30 feet from his front door

  • do you like your usp better than a 1911? I have a 1911 by s&w but i've been thinking about picking up a usp tactical at some point.

  • i dont like it better than my 1911, but i do like it alot....it is alot different than my 1911s....shoots just as good, but is bigger and holds more rounds. i use it as my house pistol and i would trust my life to it

    best to have both :)

  • Nice vid, and even nicer hardware =) I was considering the Tac at one time, but ended up with the Elite. The longer sightline is more useful to me than the option of a silencer. Still, both great guns. HK know what they're doing and we get to enjoy it =)

  • whats that metal clanging noise. Is it modified amunition?

  • hitting metal targets that drop when hit

  • beautiful gun

  • Dude... the day that I got to shoot my first gun, which was a CZ 85 (I didnt want act all noob like by asking what videogame guns they had), was the day I realized the video games have nothing on real life guns... Best one so far was me shooting the monster that is the Barret..

Nothing is more satisfying than creating a nice and tight group... better than getting the handcannon and CT in RE4 :-)

  • I'm thinking of getting a USP and I like the longer threaded barrel, but I don't need the sights or trigger stop. Can I buy a tactical barrel and use it in a standard full-size USP? Or would it ultimately be cheaper just to buy the tac?

  • tactical in my opion is real nice, trigger feels the same as the regular hk45

i dont know if barrel can be put in regular.

im sure the tact would be cheaper.

i bought mine used....even better price

  • its going to be cheaper to buy the tactical version up front. I've read that the Tactical's barrel doesn't go into the regular USP. I know that the two utilize completely different slides & I'm pretty sure mags too.

  • re4????

  • Resident Evil 4: Its a popular horror video game. Don't sweat it. The reason I like H&k is because of Metal Gear Solid, another video game. The video game generation my friend

  • Most people choose guns based on performance rather than what games feature it.

  • With the H&K usp tactical barrel length 5.09" H&K usp expert barrel length 5.19" and the H&K MK23 barrel length 5.87" I would think the longer barrel would stabalize the round and be little more accurate and reduce the recoil, why one would choose the tactical over the expert or even the the Mk23 is interesting just a thought but either way H&k controls lol

  • ive heard the mk 23 isnt comfortable in the hand like the tact or expert. i bought the one i found, didnt really choose. used is always cheaper

  • how do you like your USP?

  • oh very much, its a great shooting 45

  • how hard was it for you to get your hands on the tactical USP?

  • they arent that hard to find here

  • CTs pistol in Counter-Strike XD

  • That gun is one accurate motherfucker.

  • man i wish we could own guns in england :( nice shooting buddy.

  • UK Gun laws suck, they think by making the ownership of firearms illegal, gun crime will decrease...

but those 'gangsta' CUNTS are still killing people and ruining it for the rest of us who would love to legally own and shoot firearms here.

Lucky for me i have dual citizenship being british and maltese, and in malta it is legal to own firearms :)

  • You know what a disarmed "free" county turn into?? WW2 style enslaving death camps!! Look at preWW2 Germany!! Get out of there while you still can!!! You have lost your ability to save your country!

"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's teeth and keyston under Independence." George Washington

  • oh man.. i wish i could understand what you just said :( lol but i aggree with uberpirox... he talks sence.

  • errm what about the usp tactical compact in .45??

  • Sure, it's the same gun only smaller.

  • the compact .45 isn't tactical. the tactical has the threaded barrel & the compact doesn't come with one at all - in any variant(that i know of)

  • You're wrong, there is a USP compact .45 and there is a USP **Tactical** compact .45 it's exactly like above gun except smaller, threaded barrel and everything. 7 round magazine I think.

  • Sweet, Man I wish I could own guns!!!

  • Nice theme music, nice tactical set up.
