  • 36 people have Dead tastbud tongues, and cannot swallow this great recipe

  • I wonder if places in Italy still make pizza with a brick oven.

  • @TheGenesisfan93 As of summer 2009 yes, every pizza place I visited in Italy used a brick oven minus one that was more like a McDonalds fast food-type place. I was in the Tuscan countryside, Rome, Milan, Florence and Venice and each place used brick ovens. :)

  • @sailorknightwing Well, thanks for the info. And for making me jealous that you went to Italy. If you go again, take me with you!

  • Of your videos that I have seen so far, I can't decide which I have enjoyed the most. Each one is better than the last one. I agree with others that when I see you cook so many different things on your grill, it makes me think I can do the same thing. Can't wait for better weather to get grilling. (We're supposed to get another several inches of snow in the next 48 hours.) Spring is just around the corner. Thanks for all of your time making these videos.

  • got some friends coming over tonight & glad I checked in & saw this. Never thought of making this myself on a grill.

A few should be good to pick at while we get everything else going

  • Thanks to this awesome video, I made 3 pizzas yesterday on my charcoal grill that turned out FANTASTIC! Instead of bricks I used a pizza stone, and my pizzas turned out just like the pizzas in this video.......nice! Thank-you for posting this vid....I have watched plenty of other BBQ Pizza vids, and this one is the best for showing a novice out to make AWESOME pizza on the backyard grill.....

  • big pizza XXL thick :)

  • thank you for share~~

  • Do you recommend charcoal or propane?

  • Love the soundtrack and voice over!! good work friend!!

  • OK, I tried this last night and screwed up somehow. The crust wouldnt cook and was stuck to the brick. Very disapointed. Anyone know what I did wrong? Do you need the bricks with holes in them? Maybe thats what I did wrong because my bricks were solid. Do you need to grease up the bricks? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  • The bricks have to be really piping hot, or the dough will bake onto it.

Also a layer of flour would surely help, no grease though.

  • @dbrincefield Sprinkle cornmeal liberally on the bottom of the pizza, and sprinkle cornmeal liberally on the stone before you slide the uncooked pizza onto it. By the way, it's easier if you sprinkle the cornmeal on the pizza dough after you've shaped it, then flip it over and add the ingredients to the other side. You need to wait a while for the bricks to get hot, let's say, 20 minutes, after the grill air temp is 450F. Or, save yourself grief and just buy a pizza stone instead of using brick

  • YARRRRRR!! lovin this pizza. so simple and better then you will find in any reasturant.

  • Awesome

  • you talk so funny hehehehehe

  • that looks delicious bro!! LoL Im like stoned with the munchies wishing i had a slice right now : ]

  • too much dough not enough sauce lol

  • Perfect. Looks like GREAT pizzas. Thanks. And to me it looked like charcoal. But you did say it was a certain temp and for that it might be gas. Im sure either will work fine but id still like to know. Thanks for the lesson and great narrating cuz im hungry.

  • damm ill have to try that sometime

  • looks like you are using a gas grill - can you confirm if you are using gas or charcoal? - thanks - awesome video - great looking pizza

  • man ,,,i bigtime enjoy watching your videos ,but,,you touch raw meat and touch everything else you are showing what you are to cook ,im trained in sanitation ,food handling and all ..sorry to be an asshole ..i just want to see a good and clean video ,.,,

  • @DRSYNDROLIUM well, well, it's the Food Police again. Don't recall you being here when we shot this video. • little hello from paris ... (france, not paris texas lol)

you are the best for the barbecue!

    congratulation.

    miam miam

  • I want a brick oven pizza.

  • You hear that CRUNCH!!!

  • When he cut into it, it made me hungry

  • I worked at a pizza place that actually had a charcoal grill in the kitchen. The owner would actually make grilled pizzas for people who requested them. Being an employee, I got free food as long as I made it myself. I came up with one that had shrimp and scallops... Good eatin

  • Nice, that looks great.

  • They made pie, they made these pizzas, they even made mac & cheese and all this other stuff I haven't had the time to look at yet... is there anything you CAN'T make with a grill, machete, and your own cooking tools?

And I don't know if it's just me, but every time I see stuff made with a grill, I get more hungry than when I see food made with stoves or microwaves... lol

  • @chronofantasy5 "microwaves.." damn americans :D who the fuck makes food with microwave..D

  • Mama mia! I'm going to make one on the BBQ just like you showed me here. My two favorite things pizza and BBQ. Fantastico! lol

  • Hello Pit Boy's, Q: Do you place coals directly under brick? or the indirect method on one or both side of brick?

  • All the sausage and ground beef he said was pre cooked and he had that on a plate the cutting board wasnt contaminated with meat products.

  • The only thing I didn't like is handling the raw and the cooked pizza on the same cutting board.

  • Is he putting on an accent or does he actually sound like that?

  • haha now thats a dedicated griller....love the music too... BENISSIMO!!!!

  • where do you get bricks like that??

  • @bdd549 they appear to be regular masonry bricks. Even if they are not, I am sure they would still work just as well.

  • @AsystoleAngel No you can't use any brick. Most bricks will explode once they're in the heat too long. That is why they make fire brick.

  • Y'all ROCK!! it never occured to me to use bricks. when i made pizza on the grill, i used my iron skillets and made em deep dish pizza's. one truth though? Grillin makes em taste better!! I love watching you guys grill!! GREAT recipes!!

  • you guys just blew my mind!

  • I wish I could get a slice of that...lol

  • BBQ pit boys, would you file charges if i stole all your food?

  • Damn! that's good... I must try this one

  • That looks so GOOD! ima deff try this!
