This is NOT a private server thing. They do it with the "Recuit a Friend" thing that they get because one of them invited the other to WoW. And they also get a zebra mount or what the hell.

This is Recruit A Friend AKA RaF, Those days u needed to do 2 lvl 60's to get lvl 60 as fast as they could, because when u level every other level gives u this ''Grant a level'' bonus as a reward. Only that account can receive them who links those accounts. so that person who accetps the invite to RaF Can't receive Grant a Level Bonus. Believe me i know i have my second friend already being Recruit a Friended but now after cataclysm we can get lvl 80 ;)
its not cheating btw its called Buddy program where u invite a firend to play level with them and as u level u get 1 free level for every 2 levels you both gain

Its called "Recruit a friend". If you recruit a friend you get 3x the exp from quests and monster ONLY if you quest with your friend. Once you hit 60+ or any lvl your friend can grant alt of yours a level.
@collin1295 This video was made way back, when dungeon finder was available for all lvls, not the way it is today where you instantly tele to the dungeon, but it was used to find groups. Wrath baby.

i know how u did it its part of recruit a friend benefits you can grant lvls but only goes to a certain lvl once past that it stops and wont work unless u make new toons

not true private server more like replicate the retail wow which are called blizzlike servers. the they got servers that multiply the amount of experience u gain which are fst rate. but there are no legit private servesrs that have modded... ppl wouldnt enjoy the modded servers as much.... but there has yet to be a private server to completely replicate wow... but whatever startin to sound like nerd :P
This is possible on normal wow, all you do is get your xp to 99% before geting granted lvl's by your recruited friends. Then just add the 1% when you are lvl 60...Simple as that.

@Canttouchthismaster Must get the reffered person to get up to about 85. that way they can grant 40 levels (1 level every 2 levels you help them get)
This means you can get a level 80 character dead easy.

With recruit a friend you can grant 1 level for every 2 or 3 levels you get for the friend of yours. The one you recruited.

thats the recruit a friend thing if u recruit a friend and they get to level 80 u can start a new character and they the give a level and levle u up to level 60 and they stilkl stay 60

i thought that to grant a level you needed to be generally the same lvl and that you could only grant one leve per 2 levels

not true private server more like replicate the retail wow which are called blizzlike servers. the they got servers that multiply the amount of experience u gain which are fst rate. but there are no legit private servesrs that have modded... ppl wouldnt enjoy the modded servers as much.... but there has yet to be a private server to completely replicate wow... but whatever startin to sound like nerd :P

This is possible on normal wow, all you do is get your xp to 99% before geting granted lvl's by your recruited friends. Then just add the 1% when you are lvl 60...Simple as that.
