  • reminds me of a scratch advertisement from cowboy bebop.

  • Capitalism is a system that creates an immoral elite by rewarding the most cutthroat behavior with the most power. You're a fool if you don't see that. That's why our world is being destroyed acre by acre to make wealth that concentrates in the hands of a few people.

Never in history have resources been distributed as unevenly as they are worldwide today. To call those who struggle against this injustice "immoral elitists" is the height of hypocrisy.

  • There's nothing wrong with capitalism. However, there is something wrong with immoral elitists who destroy capitalism.

  • FUCK LEVIS!

  • Anarchists historically have been at the forefront of the struggles against fascism and authoritarian communism (in the Ukraine 1917-1921, in Spain 1936-39, etc.).

If you think you're against those things but you're talking about shooting anarchists, you're probably on a different team than you think you are--something that happens often to sheep.

And again, if you think Souros and Olinsky have a damn thing to do with anarchists, you're sorely confused. Put that gun down and learn something.

  • I do not think that Levi's will protect the anarchists from the bullets of those who oppose Marxism, Fascism or Communism. Unlike Cuba, we still have our guns and will use them to oppose those sheep that follow Souros and Olinsky.

  • Finally--

As for everyone below crying about "power vacuums" as an excuse for not fighting those who oppress them, if we can force off one oppressive system we can certainly keep others at bay. It's people who insist that oppressive systems are inevitable (or aren't oppressive, even though they create such huge injustices) that keep them around.

  • It's incredibly ignorant to think a Marxist dictatorship is the only alternative to capitalism. Some of us are anarchists--which is to say, we're not going to be ruled by the right or the left. We fight for our own freedom and help others defend theirs. That's not freedom to buy and sell things, but freedom to develop real relationships that aren't about competition and coercion.

I know you right-wingers get really scared when you read this kind of thing. Fine. Tremble.

  • From one of the reactionaries below:

"For a million years, humanity lived in the tyranny of oligarchies, czars, feudal lords, slavemasters, despots, dictators & worse. Freedom NEVER existed until the U.S.A. was born."

You think that Colombus discovered feudal lords and slavemasters when he landed in the "New World"? His own journals say the opposite. You are a victim of successful propaganda. Your whole idea of reality has been constructed by your enemies to keep you afraid. Sad.

  • Stupid that a company built on capitalism is preaching anti-capitalism. Levi's IS capitalism. Don't sit there & tell us about our bodies & our moments of joy being flattened into images that impoverish our lives. That's exactly what YOU do Levi's. Your ads for your products are nothing more than sounding brass & tinkling cymbals. Don't go pretending you're somehow different. You are just another hunk of capitalism and you should be thankful for the right to be so. I will never buy Levi's again.

  • lol at the Against Me! picture.

  • Yes, let's do away with capitalism so governments can control EVERYTHING, because we see how well they operate.

I can't believe how stupid people are.

  • HELL YES!

  • Ozjaban--

For a million years, homo sapiens lived without corporations or governments. A few hundred years of capitalism have just about destroyed the environment we depend on to live. We are much more "ready" for a free way of life ("anarchy") than for the miserable way we live right now--hence your admonition to "be happy... or whatever."

As for rulers, if we can overthrow them, we can certainly defend ourselves against new ones. It's your apathy that poses the greatest threat!

  • @rtdropbox For a million years, humanity lived in the tyranny of oligarchies, czars, feudal lords, slavemasters, despots, dictators & worse.Freedom NEVER existed until the U.S.A. was born. But liberty isn't possible without private property, & free markets.Free markets didn't screw it up,it was collectivism, bureaucracy, perversion of our Constitution by most every politician or judge, to one degree or another.Capitalism built this country & made prosperity possible. You've been fooled & will regret it

  • @rtdropbox And in less than 100 years of Marxism, Communism, and Socialism more dreams and lives have been destroyed that all the wars since the beginning of time. Oh, wait, you think man existed in a bucolic utopia before capitalism freed mankind kind the slavery of menial existence. Never mind! Your thought process is unsalvageable. The necessary deductive thinking process is absent.

  • This is not going to lead us to any good... crushing the system going against the goverment and corporations, why and how? There is no bright light at the end of this advocacy tunnel. This sh*t isn`t clean, someone is keen to take over the seat at the top. And if it is, then how on earth society will maintain normal conditions with this anarchy, that we as homo-sapiens are not ready for.

Just get a job, find someone to f*ck with and be happy or whatever.

  • @ozjaban There several lights at he end of the tunnel. I all depends on what humanity really wants. It's a matter of daring to dream about something better or staying in the nightmare we are in today.

  • For people who wants the name of the very beautiful music, it's "Julianna Barwick - Anjos" ; I create an YouTube account for "help" ^^

ps: Sorry for my accent not very good, but I'm french...

  • Isn't anarcho-capitalism just a free-market on steroids?

  • Capitalism isn't rotten because of a few bad apples.

"Anarcho"-capitalism is a joke. There's no common ground between real freedom and a system of exploitation based on competition for profit. Some idiots don't recognize that private property and government are simply two interchangeable ways to wield power over others. Neither state "communism" nor "anarcho" capitalism--we want liberty, which can only be based in free association, mutual aid, gift economics, and self-defense where necessary.

  • anarcho capitalism is the future baby :D

  • Comment removed

  • THIS IS DISGUSTING. never buying any more levis. lots of love to every one of you people. WE WILL MAKE IT

  • @hastalueguito why disgusting?

  • Cultural management is used as a curtain to cover a system based on slaves, working in poor countries whose Govs. have sold them out. Exploiting the fact that there is no solid international legal framework. For anyone who wants proof of this just check out where your computer was assembled, where your tee-shirt was made, shoes, mobiles phones...

  • Capitalism will never die and there is nothing wrong with it. There are however a few spoilers who can make the whole thing look bad.

And there will be the Liberal Socialist and Communists who will see it all as bad...but will see nothing wrong with the 100+ million killed in their name

    last century.

  • @theSeductionKing And capitalism killed more people just in India between 1955-1975 if you go at the same criterias.

  • @theSeductionKing I'm with you buddy!! Let the children play with their capitalist toys....

  • The gods will offer you clothing??? Who do you thing you are.... You make shity pants after all ...they tear apart last time i was revolting in the streets.... Idiots.. trying to capitalize on the revolution....

  • I am sorry LEVIS but you are not included in the revolution. You are part of Capitalism and this add, cause that is what it is! , is part of your campain to GET MORE MONEY!!! So as far as i am conserned you are part of the Capitalist-problem and not the revolt gainst it. So ... go forth and f-u-c-k o-f-f....

  • @bourdoubas Sooo...when you get your wonderful communist or whatever tyrannical government (because that's what ALWAYS steps into the vacuum) who's going to make your pants? You'll probably be making them yourself, you know, in a sweatshop 16 hours, 6 or 7 days a week.Your new wonderful power-hungry leader will have you working your a** off for a pittance,& lining his pockets with profits from your work. All you'll be allowed will be a bare subsistance. You'll rue the day you ever listened.

  • The biggest problem we face, is humanities inability to understand the exponential function. What's that? I hear you cry!

Well, it basically it's a function that describes anything that grows steadily over time e.g. 5% per year.

It means every x number of years the size of a given something will double, then double again, and again and AGAIN and OMG yes AGAIN....

Our growth model of economics is of permanent growth!

Google the lecture: The Most IMPORTANT Video You'll Ever See

  • Those who think people can freely choose whether to be rich or poor--or what to do at all in this society where profit drives everything--are truly nuts. We can resist that, but that places us in conflict with the powers that be, and the forces that normally distribute resources according to economic performance alone.

Some people are still lying to themselves about this. But that won't be possible much longer.

  • I mean... you are going to have to wear someones jeans...

  • 1. you're never going to defeat capitalism.

    2. capitalists actually bring the food on your table.

  • @EdwardTheNutsOne No, we bring the food to the table to the capitalists. We the workers produce everything. The capitalists produce nothing, they just own things.

  • @aikfanat Nobody says you have to be a worker or a capitalist. You're free to choose your own 'destiny' last time I checked. :) Capitalits just found a loophole and exploited it, society is the one that's fucked up not the capitalists.

  • @EdwardTheNutsOne Capitalism automatically divides the people in those who owns(capitalists) and in those who dont own(workers). You cant choose anything.

  • @aikfanat actually, you can. Read 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill or 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' by Robert Kiyosaki. You are the master of your own life, there is no such thing as God or fate.

  • @EdwardTheNutsOne So? Of course there is no thing as God or fate. But we are not masters of our own life. The capitalists are the masters. They own and control everything in this world. That is why we have to bring down capitalism, to be free.

  • Can anyone please tell me who the narrator is? Sounds familiar... Some aboriginal actor? Regardless, I'm forwarding this on to all my friends...

  • @LadyK1111 yeah thats what i want to know too. info pls.

  • love it.

  • Only economically comfortable people, the beneficiaries of capitalism, would produce this sort of armchair propaganda.

  • @gribblewok

Only armchair critics of capitalism would deride topical and aesthetically pleasing propaganda.

  • @guatahala Your reply is ambiguous. I'm not a critic of capitalism, if that's what you're suggesting. I'm a product of it and a producer of capital. This video is topical as you say, I don't find it "aesthetically pleasing". I think it's just a naive (a word I would spell correctly if my PC allowed me to place an umlaut over the "i" within it).

  • @gribblewok

You position is ambiguous. If you're not a critic of capitalism, why are you criticising efforts at producing propaganda? How is it naive?

  • @guatahala Your 1st reply doesn't make much sense, your 2nd reply makes even less sense. Please feel free to have the last words on this matter, doubtless they'll make even less sense and frankly I can't be bothered to debate with people whose "arguments" are simply illogical misrepresentations of my position. Please waste someone else's time. Your statements are meaningless.

  • @gribblewok

    Your face is meaningless.

  • Sometimes I just want to burn everything down, and start again. I know it's impractical, but sometimes, it just feels like it would be so right, no?

  • @jcalifano4 When the earthquake happened and there was threat of nuclear fallout, part of me was hoping that it would just happen, and that mostly everything would be destroyed, so we could start over again from the beginning. I was glad when fallout didn't happen mind you, what with the saving billions of lives thing, but i understand why one would want to just burn everything down and start over. I'm hoping the impending zombie apocalypse will take care of our government problems.

  • Oh it made sooo mad that i wanted to go burn down some banks! but then i realised i wasn't wearing my levis so i went and cried in the corner.

  • they good jeans

  • The gods wait to delight in you!

  • love it!

  • What's up with Against Me! being in this video?

  • Levis are the capitalist equivalent of the "1984" Party Uniform overalls or the Soviet budenovka. They symbolise conformity to a capitalist ideal that is neither attainable nor desirable in reality. By wearing these jeans, just like everyone else, you are showing the world that you are a rebel and an individual, when in reality these are the two qualities that the fascist capo overloads never want you to possess, except within the confines of your capitalist limited imagination.

  • AWESOME

  • People like to confuse Anarchy and Anarchism with the collapse of a state. Yet, that is the one thing that Anarchism specifically isn't! Though, with the collapse comes an opportunity. I think we can see such an opportunity on the horizon, LET"S NOT WASTE IT!

  • We really are winning this time around...

  • Real change is coming, lets make it happen. I advocate a resource based economy.

  • This PSA was brought to you by MTV.

  • Can we safely assume the kids just looted those jeans?

  • Epic : )

  • lets fucking do this.

  • Nearly 2,000 views in two or three days, that ain't too fuckin' bad, is it.

Props on this vid. I'd like to see more like this, even if that means I gotta do it myself.

  • Merely poetry in motion.

  • Ancaps exist only on the internets, and thus require no further refutation.

MEANWHILE, actually anarchists exist in all the epicenters of the ongoing revolts around the world, and popular support continues to grow exponentially. When the fear of anarchy is overcome by the fear of this sick system's continuance, our dreams will become reality. The fear of anarchy is nothing more than fear of each other, and there is good reason to fear cops more than our fellow civilians. Let's fucking do this.

  • @dingobabystealer Ya know, if you'd use fewer drugs, your brain wouldn't be so fried!

  • @bafrank3poc You know, if you weren't an enormous douche, you might be able to offer more than feeble ad hominem attacks.

  • Comment removed

  • @dingobabystealer LOL see what you did there

  • Comment removed

  • Damn, all this capitalism is making my jeans chafe, I better go out and buy some Levis.

  • LOL Against Me! @ 0:22

  • @realghostofdreams: Silly, anarcho-cap you can't have capitalism without the state, nor would it be desirable.

  • @t0utniquer - In fact capitalism without the state has existed, it was called feudal warlordism. I think we can all agree we don't want that shit again.

  • @rebelliouspixels: Capitalism is an advanced stage of production only possible through the supercession of feudalism. At least I can agree that I don't want advanced stages of production and all that is inherent to it.

  • @rebelliouspixels Feudalism is Landlordism; Landlordism is Propertarianism; Propertarianism is Capitalism -- thus, "anarcho"-Capitalism is Neo-Feudalism.
