You'll notice this guy keeps his right up near the soundhole and mostly off the guitar's top altogether. This is because if you rest your hand on the bridge like 99% of us do you'll get glitches like crazy.
Thanks for checking out the video! You may surprised to learn that the above rig is glitch proof! I guarantee that. It will not glitch. I put my hand there because that is where I play when finger picking. But, check out some of my other videos featuring the GR-300 or VG-88, I do rest my hand on the bridge sometime, and this rig NEVER glitches! It will track hammer-ons, pull-offs, you can slap the guitar, slap harmonics, and both the VG-88 and GR-300 will track perfectly! Try it!
@WayneJoness I've had my Godin ACS for a few days now, and it glitches quite a bit compared to my Taylor with a GK-3. I had to set the sensitivity quite a bit lower for the Godin (using a GR-20). That helped, but it still glitches quite a bit. I'm about ready to send it back because I only bought it to use as a synth controller. I have a video showing the differences between the Godin and my Taylor/Gk-3. Admittedly I'm playing things that will force more glitches (double picking etc.).
@WayneJoness I wonder if my glitching problem has anything to do with the fact that I'm playing a nylon string model while you're playing a steel string?
@chadinterrupted experimental music and my main root of what i listen to too is post hardcore music, but i just don't think the tone you are getting with that really expensive roland is worth the money. i am getting a line 6 m 13 more than likely today.
I don't have this feature shown here, but I really like the ability of the Roland gear to create alternate tunings. It's easy to experiment with open tunings, without retuning or restringing your guitar. I know the Roland gear isn't cheap, but I have not found anything else that does that accurately. Used VG-88s go for around $300, which I think is reasonable considering the processing power.
@chadinterrupted oh dang, i don't know where i got my info haha. i saw it for a way more expensive price. yeah, hell yeah. alternate tunings is awesome. my equipment is at a studio so i can't play my m13 yet. haha. i want to so bad. all i can do is stare.
@chadinterrupted most definitely. i got to play the m13 and it had synth effects like this. pretty cool stuff. but sadly i am now very i'll with a flu or cold or something. all i know is i don't feel very good. i do record music so if your interested when i get some stuff up i'll let you know and you can check it out.
With a RC-1324, you can play a Roland GR-100, GR-300, GR-700, or Korg Z3. You cannot play those with your Godin ACS-SA. The GR-300 in particular is a highly sought after, all analog, vintage guitar synthesizer with perfect, flawless tracking. Pat Metheny has made a career of using the GR-300 for his guitar synthesizer solos. The tracking of the GR-300 is far superior to the GR-1, because of its analog design.
0.16 sounds like sooty and sweet

what's the use of rc-1324? because i mainly use my godin acs-sa with a roland gr-1, and i'm wondering what sounds you can get using the rc-1324
