It's amazing to me that a show....a television show can bring about so many emotions from so many people. When someone tells me that they too are a fan of the West Wing...I know they are smart, and for lack of a better word..."my kind of person". This clip, coupled by the music, had me in tears. The devotion the characters had to each other, and all of them to the President...is something we may never see again in prime time. Thank you for this clip...and all of you who love the West Wing!!!

Ave Maria is central to the plot of another episode with Josh: it is the music he associates with his sister who died in a fire when they were children, and he has survivor's guilt. It was her favourite music and she sang it all the time.

Such a brilliant piece of television, always loved these two episodes. I think Allison Janney is especially amazing throughout, her acting is seemless.
