I have also done research about master zhang and found that he had not visited the states,and when i asked the current grandmaster,he had no answer. i feel like i've lied to and shammed. A search of the Pa Kua Journal would give you much detailed information on Master Zhang Junfeng as well as Dr. Fish. Rather than post more here, I would suggest doing the research on both gentlemen (Dr. Fish and I are good friends and correspond frequently. I also knew Master Zhang quite well when I was a young man.)

Dr. Kenneth Fish was Master Zhang Junfeng's only non-Chinese student. I have googled your teacher's name, and the biography of Master Zhang (and the anecdotes therein) are without basis. Master Zhang was never in the United States - he never traveled beyond China and Taiwan. The systems listed on the yee chong mu gow site are not, for the most part, Chinese martial arts or in any way related to what Master Zhang taught.

No Zhang is the family name. As is Li.

Junfeng are the given names.
