@GamingBrosproduction Its not illegal in America to take off the orange tip. It is required by law to be sold with an orange tip though. Once the owner receives the gun they can do whatever they want with it.

@TacOpsAirsoft And that will be the last thing you want. IT put way too much stress of the piston and drains battery life so if your not going to disable the blowback you better be good with gearboxes.

@WOWster007 Yes, but saying you must remove it is. All airsoft guns will break eventually, anyway. Oh but i woudn't say it drains the battery, it doesn't seem to at all. Batteries last me just as long in a blowback gun.

@TacOpsAirsoft All blowbacks theoretically drain battery faster due to using more power to pull back the charging handle. It really isn't that big of a deal. Yes, since the piston has to pull back the spring and charging handle, it does put more wear on the piston. Its really not a big deal since pistons are cheap to replace.

@TacOpsAirsoft On aks that is a big bolt to have the motor pull back i have one and it did drain the battery significantly and when i disabled it got a extra 10 minutes of play time. Mp5 bolt are not tjhat big so it probably wouldnt make a difference.
