  • Using this amp it will blow the speakers or something idk but its not good fori t thats what i know.

  • THERE BLOWS ANOTHER SPEAKER!

  • they r right. your screwing your amp. and your guitar doesnt have a fuse in it.

i like how one guy actually mention the fact that who really cares this video sucks either way.

  • Blank everyone, Its music theory play thru what you want, I play guitar a tele, if it wasn't for the Bluesman down South who played a string up against a house we would not have the PLANK ( tele) ...Off course you can blow the amp up but who has not..Give yourself a break and listen to yourself. and no one else...Bless You..all KEEP JAMMIN EVEYONE ( I have the 2x12 spyder red face...)

  • will i need a distortion pedal or is this amp awesome on it's own

  • i dont know why everyone is so obsessed with the fact that your playing a bass through a guitar amp. i play mine though a 75 watt spider because i played guitar and then i bought a bass. im sorry im not rich enough to by a bass amp too. i dont think its gonna do anything if you dont have a shitty amp. although i also dont play it with distortion and a hell of a lot of bass and shit. that seems like it would be worse to me

  • daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamm....

  • you wont be satisfied till you blow your amp out. XD enjoy it while it lasts buddy

  • this video sucks

  • rattle rattle TEAR :O oops

  • thats it kill your amp, dont plug a bass in a guitar amp. Plus a guitar amp cant handle the frequency of a bass, thats why this video sounds shit.

  • sucks

  • Never mix spray paint in a paper bag with a bass and guitar amp!

  • some amps have a little B on the model, that means it's a bass amp. You'll kill the speaker soon.

  • im suprised u havent blown out the amp......

  • fail

  • okey nice video editing, but... that is a bass

  • hahahahah youre a lil bit confused

  • Poor hammy hes probably got a heart attack...

    or is scared shitlessly...

  • isn't this amp made for guitar not bass.. correct me if im wrong..

  • youre correct.its made for guitar

  • HAHAHAHAHA

  • no talent.

  • i hope the amp explodes... and blows ur head off :)

  • hahah the poor lil hamster is scared shitless

  • can you blame him for being scared shitless

  • i wish this was a line6 lowdown

  • you guys realize this video was posted 2 years ago, right? theres no point telling him about not playing a bass on a guitar amp, its already imploded by now, and hes moved on to other retarded things like smoking crack and watching dane cook.

  • dane cook is cool:P

  • dane cook IS cool

  • dude ur not supposed to use a guitar amo for a bass

    ur amp will explode man

  • FUUfuuFUFUUUUFUUfuufuufufFUU

    fuufuuUFUUFUufufufUFufuFUUUUFFFU

    FUUFfuuufUFUUFUFuUUUFUFUUF

    FUUUUUUUUUFUUUUUUUUFUUUUUUUFU

    FUUUUUUFUUUUUUFUUUU

    FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what did you do with all the money your parents gave you for bass lessons?

  • that poor bass guitar

  • my heart hurt with every note

  • retarded

  • sofa king we todd did.

  • Dude, basses have more high and low sound frequencies than a guitar, too much for a guitar amp too handle. You'll blow the input and be left with a crappy sounding amp. In other words, don't play the bass through an already unstable modeling amp.

  • dude dont play a bass guitar on a guitar amp your going to mess it up and u suck

  • line 6 sucks

Digital amps are the worst fucking thing i ever seen in my life

  • if you dont like it, then shut up

  • @keyblade09 Wanna fight

  • lol @ non bass amp.

  • i hope thats a bass amp if not then your a fuckin retard.

  • that looks like fun hopefully u have an extra $200 layin around

  • haha ya im buying this amp in a couple weeks for a(n) (ELECTRIC) guitar

  • do it it kicks maddd ass

  • dude ur gonna fuck up ur amp if you play a bass on it ... thats an electric guitar amp ..

  • ur hamsters gonna die.....lol....is there anything in tht cage????

  • that sounded horrible if you want to play bass get a bass amp

  • omg emoboy leave this monkey bussiness;0 music is not the way U should live;) btw spider is a guitar amp (not bass:P)

  • i hope this kid realized that ur not sposd to do this yet

  • if u do that can u wreak ur amp and ur guitar

  • yea the amp but how could that wreck your guitar i ask?

  • i was wonderin if it can wreak it

  • no it cant the sonud frequency is so low it can blow out your speaker but nothing can happen to the guitar

  • tight384: you are right, you are not supposed to play a bass through a regular guitar amp,

the speakers on todays guitar amps are designed for a different signal.

where the old amps in the 50's and 60's could handle it because they were designed for guitars, accordians, basses and pa use.

  • You are generally not supposed to play basses through guitar amps.I am not trying to make anyone mad, but the speakers can blow if you do.

  • It's not easy to blow the speakers in most combo amps. You might feed more low-end than the amp was really made for, but the speakers will usually just distort at max volume. People don't do it because they usually want a cleaner tone with a lot more low end. But if you like how this sounds...

  • yeh

  • i recently purchased a spider II 2x10 from a friend. and i cant figure out how to set the channels to my own likings. everytime it goes back to his. can you tell me how?

  • u set the seeting you want then you hold one of the channel bottons for a couple seconds then the lit on the channel will turn green the there you go.

  • How close is the insane channel to a distortion pedal?

  • from a rating of 1-10, 1 being low gain amp distortion and 10 being a high quality dist. pedal, id say an 8.5

  • take a look at "death from above 1979" bass playing

  • flange is a cool effect but.....

    i REALLY hate it

  • yea that makes sense.

    will do.

    thanks a lot homie.

  • i've noticed certain effects change volume (usually lower) when you change them from say a clean, to a metal effect.

i know the channel volume knob is designed for this, but i cant seem to figure it out. when i move the channel volume knob, it lowers the sound completely

    any suggestions?

  • I suggest just keep playign with it... i'm no expert. However, ebcause the Line 6 saves the settings you inoput into it, when yuo change the channel volume, you fiddle aroudn with all the oter settings as well. try lightly moving all the other knobs.. to where you;s want them.

  • hey can you buy the amo and have a bass and make it sound electric???

    o yes

    o no

  • haha, this is a bit funny, not only that you play with bass on guitar amp but you play that bass like an electric guitar...

  • what is wrong with that??? sounds better

  • nothing at all, i just noticed the fact of him doing that.

  • I own that exact Line 6 spider model. As far as the presets/modeling channels go i.e. Crunch, Metal, Insane basicly... THEY SUCK DICK CHANEYS NUTS ON AREA 51.... But if you use the clean channel and just run in your effects, you can get some decent tones. I go into a CS-3, NS2, TC3 Stereo Chorus, SD1, RP250 and a DBX comp/Limit, I love my tone!

  • what do you use?

  • Mesa F-50 amp with Schecter Hellraiser FR guitar ( + effects when needed)

  • lol fair enough

  • lol your speaker is gunna be fucked up when u play your electric guitar lol

  • That poor guitar amp, why do people keep playing a bass on Amps with speakers that are not designet for it...

  • If you would read a tiny bit (there are not alot of comments) i had a guitar, but a fuse inside the amp plug of the guitar is broken, so i hooked up a bass to it.

  • haha thats my favorite band rammstein!!=)

  • You bastard it's a guitar amp!!!!

  • And?

My guitar broke so I'm using a bass.

    Chill dude.

  • Your ruining the amp, or at least the speaker.

You should think about why they build different speakers for a bass and for a guitar.

And vice versa, a guitar would ruin a bass box, especiall in the high tones solo stuff.

You can always use an Guitar Amplifier for a Bass, but not the box. I have seen about 4 Guitar Boxes blowen of from a bass. And that would be wasting money, and then you got no amp.

Trust me on that, it sucks to don't have an amp ;)

  • dude right now i dont have an amp, and i prac. using just my guitar unplugged, not really being bothered though, makes prac. a little hard cause you see every mistake on every note, cause theres no other sound trying to hide it, distortion for instance.

  • dosnt matter man what ppl think is wrong, you go for it if it fucks up it fucks up,

  • @Sherab0 u will bust the speakers

  • wow hey, i finally got to watch this on my good comp! you do really well :D i dunno much about guitars and amps but it looks like u have a lot of fun on it ^__^ <3

  • bass

  • You're welcome.

  • I like this. Its really good. I liked Tremolo(sp?) the most.

    Imma subscribe now. ^_^

  • Your playing is actually pretty good. I think the phaser mode is just for a cool intro or something, cuz if you played it like that the entire song, it would get annoying.

  • thank you, and yeah... Or maybe a change ion a chorus, or something. I'll play around with the phaser more actually... thank you =]
