what about the piston surely if ur replacing the pads u must push back the piston using a c clamp just helping

Hmmm... on what car would the pads remain with the rotors when you removed the calipers? This animation idea is kinda cool, but someone should've checked the animators accuracy before releasing this video.

@GangreneVagina um on my volvo and on my pathfinder and on my fiero the pads stay on the rotor when the caliper is removed and thats just the three types of cars i have. im pretty sure its industry standard now days watch some other brake job vids and see. oh yea btw nice screenname lol

I guess I just pull them all off together cuz I wouldn't want them to crash down on the ground. Same with installing the new ones. I wouldn't set them on the rotor and then try to put the caliper on around them.
