@jordan567890 There's a problem in your theory though. Historically, our corporations have taken that money and instead of investing it in let's say, new job markets. What they have done is instead made automated tellers, taking jobs away. They have shipped those jobs overseas, to save money of course. They have shipped their taxable money to tax havens instead of investing in our infrastructure. There are some things that garner no profit -- infrastructure being one of them.

@jordan567890 There's a problem in your theory though. Historically, our corporations have taken that money and instead of investing it in let's say, new job markets. What they have done is instead made automated tellers, taking jobs away. They have shipped those jobs overseas, to save money of course. They have shipped their taxable money to tax havens instead of investing in our infrastructure. There are some things that garner no profit -- infrastructure being one of them.

I don't think corporations should have to pay super high taxes, but if you reduce taxes significantly in one area you lose government programs. The government doesn't get more efficient when they lose funding, they just drop stuff.
