Falemai Lesa fought the NZ Govt and won in the Privy Council, Samoans fought NZ colonisation with a movement called the Mau, Samoans fought the Germans before that led by Namulaulu Lauaki, Samoans protested against Dawn Raids of the 1970s, Samoans stood with the Springbok Tour protesters... So yeah, Samoans know how to protest, and know what's important.
