the Fire Department i worked for also ran the ambluance for the city.
this is common place now there are towns that they are the police, fire, and ambulance.
as part of the traning we get to do alot of time in hospitals in the ER.

The previous administration failing to control Government spending. And now This administrations bad decisions of the stimulus bill, the bloated omnibus Bill spending. Gov. Bobby Jindal said that the state will do "what is in the best interests of Louisiana's taxpayers" in working out a new agreement to keep the Saints in New Orleans.
However, he cautioned that the state is still in negotiations with the National Football League team and nothing has been finalized.

These are additional taxes. Like california, services will be curtailed or costs go up as spending increases past what is taken in.
Cap/trade is designed to ramp up, $175 is snapshot for one year. Later years will accelerate.

1st: You people want the free market. Fine, it's logical! Illegal immigrants offer the decent work at excellent prices! They can do the same work but you want the job and demand more wages? That is Marxism. If are a republican, you should the idea of hiring illegal immigrants.
2nd: Technology improves over time. From records to tape, then tape to CDs and CDs to MP3s. Green technology will be the future of America's exports.

Let me guess, you heard Obumbo say that somewhere in a speech and you think it holds any relevance to the real world. NEWSFLASH, we don't have any manufacturing plants because of all the jobs being shipped to China by your communist friends. So what are we going to export? Why wouldn't you want temporary workers who are here for a short period of time with the possibility of staying longer, but having to obtain a temporary workers cards instead? They would have to apply, get a health screening (so they don't bring in TB or worse), and a criminal background check. They can do the jobs "Americans won't do", and we know who they are and why they're here. Illegal immigrants are glorified slave labor. Oh yeah, I forgot. You Dems supported slavery and Jim Crow.

1. Illegal immigrants aren't American citizens, nor are they slaves. We want American citizens to have jobs.
2. Your example proves this occurs naturally in capitalism without govornment mandate. If 'green' were efficient, it wouldn't need to be forced.
Your arguements are also non-sequiters. Capitalism & Immigration are different issues. Tech advancement has little to do with better technologies being prematurely & artificially forced out of the market.

I don't believe that things should have a disproportional left bias and vice versa!

You can have all the tea parties you want but you will never change the fact that America needs green jobs and viable sources of renewable energy. People aren't stupid to fall for the same tricks twice.

I think Americans needs to remember why we are our own nation, stop subsiding other types of fuel, and let renewable energy come out on top by itself, which it will if we give it a chance, probably faster.
