  • Another great performance.

  • Like Dylan but your voice is nicer. Well done :)

  • man you sound so like early dylan. that's a gift to envy mate. great cover.

  • i want to be you. seriously.

  • Sounds just like him, great cover, have you checked out Jakob Dylan's music? I seem to be late on the Wallflowers bandwagon, but I just bought his first solo CD, and I think it's pretty damn good, almost as good as his dad.

  • very good voice.. thank you for this

  • Wow! BRILLIANT COVER! You are one of the few people I've seen who could possibly do Dylan any justice! You even have that beautiful curly hair to add to the mood : ) Thank you for this cover and best of luck with your music!

  • I love this tune. There is something hymn- like about it, I guess from the "Amen" cadence repeated so often. Also, there is much pathos in the song. There is something beautiful about it, that moves me close to tears. Even the title is poetic --

"The Chimes of Freedom." I can't understand all the words, however.

  • Can you do Dylan's "Lay Down Your Weary Tune"?

    Please....:)

  • Best cover version of one of the best Bob Dylan songs. If i close my eyes i can hear the voice and the guitar of Bob.And your voice do have more volume than his one. Also you are playing the harp really well.

  • Frank Caliendo doing a Dylan impression!?

  • Mate you absolutely nail this, best cover I've ever heard and no mistaken.

  • Nice voice

  • This is one of his hardest songs to duplicate, nice rendition again.

  • well done as many of dylans videoes have been removed you are as close

as we are going to get

  • Never heard anybody sound as similar as the young Dylan as you do!

  • I think, if you downgraded the quality of this recording and added some tape hiss, you could pass it as "Another Side of Bob Dylan" outtake bootleg.

  • clever. thank you very much.

  • you are beautiful

  • many thanks!

  • you have to teach how to do that voice. you rock dude

  • You are very talended. You are better than DYlan

  • You're very talented. You sound just like Dylan. Keep on doing the good stuff.

  • have you ever done a d chord without the d suspended? it ruins all your songs

  • Uncanny.... superb!

  • This guy is imitating early Dylan. Uncanny, he has a similar voice as the young Dylan, same tempo, etc. I bet he's worked on it long and hard, viewing and listening to early Dylan.

  • true!

  • sounds amazing, I'm sure you have also heard Bruce Springsteen's cover of the song, it is on my page, but man how do you make the guitar sound like that, it sounds amazing. Could you share a bit about your technique???

    :) great going

  • oh yes i have! and that is excellent as well. truthfully, i just... PLAY it! i wish i could tell you. i've just studied dy;an and tried to emulate his style. that's all... it's also a martin guitar which could help. i'm sorry i can't aid you more!

  • Grande cover

Oh e poi il pezzo spacca

  • the piece slit? what?!

  • It means " The song is awesome" or "The song rocks" in Italian slang

  • ooohh! hahaha why thank you. it's amazing!

  • Man I would love to play along side you some day, you rock man!

  • you butchered the chords. poor timing.but your voice, i like. keep working on it.

  • Dylan butchered the chords... the songs on Another Side are all botched up, it was recorded in one night, with little rehearsal. Hardly any two verses are the same in terms of chords. Whether or not he butchered the chords is impossible to say when the original was so butchered.

And folkhippie, I'd really like you to record the live (Newport) version, and really belt it out like Bob did. If it sounds anything like Bob's version, it'll be golden.

  • Dude I am only a year on Guitar, learned alot watching you, Thanks. Dylan songs never get old, I love trying to play them. You ever think about doing Visions of Johanna or Talkin World War III Blues? I really think you could nail both of them. Thanks again!

  • Perfeckt, sounds fantastic

  • bro i don;t know how the fuck you sound so much like dylan, it's ridiculous... seriously

  • it's a 000-15, the closest i could find to dylan's original 00-17. that was about $740.

  • everyone that says he is just doing a copy they should listen to the other original stuff he has and see the talent that is there, he is hands down one of the best musicians on youtube!!!

  • dude u got an amazing talent...

  • this is good but theres something about it. oh yea someone already did that but way better

  • The vocal is absolutely incredible! The guitar work is something less than that :) But it is a VERY GOOD copy.

  • do you want to start a band?

  • well, where do you live and what do you play?!

  • NC, i play everything bass drums guitar and fiddle with some other instruments, i have a nice analog studio

  • well, i live out in illinois. you should post some of your playing. i'd like to hear it.

  • wow, what a voice...brilliant vocal. i am very jealous

  • Excellent, thanks tilly220 for sharing.

  • Excellent! Have you posted this as a video response for the Dylan week? The week is just ending but this would be welcome as a late addition. Look in my feature window for where to post.

  • well thank you sir! say, how do you exactly entre this Dylan week thing?! i dont see a place to post or a "feature window" on your site!!

  • I don't even really like Bob Dylan, but my brother had me listen to you. You're amazing!!!!

  • haha! thanks to BOTH of you!

  • what a genius it's the best Dylan I've ever heard 5 million stars or 5 as that's all I can put

  • Fantastic... one of the harder Dylan songs to cover Dylan-ishly. Voice has the right proportion of gravel and melody. Guitar was alright... I think this is the LP tab? I like the live version more. Good job, though.

  • why, thank you! yes, indeed, you are correct: this IS the LP tab. nice ear!

  • amazing, hope you release more stuff, love the voice can't get enough of it, keep up the good work man.

  • If this is not lip sync you get an A++.

  • no sir, that's fully me! thankee kindly!

  • Great job, very 1964.

  • many thanks, lad!

  • Yo!

That song you played at my house was really good. YOu should put it up on El Youtube-o. I dont remeber the name, something to do with pens and walls...

But yeah it was cool, so if you wanna record it ill learn that organ part.

  • Excellent! Better tempo than Dylan's original version.

  • Dude, awesome!

  • Wow, what a great version. You have a wonderful voice for Dylan songs.

  • I'd like to also hear A Hard Rain's A Gonna Fall, and the Lonesome Death of Hattie Carol if they're doable. Thanks :)

  • Killer cover. The vibrato is amazing.
