Sounds just like him, great cover, have you checked out Jakob Dylan's music? I seem to be late on the Wallflowers bandwagon, but I just bought his first solo CD, and I think it's pretty damn good, almost as good as his dad.
Wow! BRILLIANT COVER! You are one of the few people I've seen who could possibly do Dylan any justice! You even have that beautiful curly hair to add to the mood : ) Thank you for this cover and best of luck with your music!
I love this tune. There is something hymn- like about it, I guess from the "Amen" cadence repeated so often. Also, there is much pathos in the song. There is something beautiful about it, that moves me close to tears. Even the title is poetic --
"The Chimes of Freedom." I can't understand all the words, however.
Best cover version of one of the best Bob Dylan songs. If i close my eyes i can hear the voice and the guitar of Bob.And your voice do have more volume than his one. Also you are playing the harp really well.

No he aren't better than Dylan.. and you're a fucking faggot. don't you see this is just a cover? Dylan is the SONGWRITTER, this fat poser guy isn't better than BOB DYLAN.
BOB DYLAN its almost like a god from Folk Rock...
This guy is imitating early Dylan. Uncanny, he has a similar voice as the young Dylan, same tempo, etc. I bet he's worked on it long and hard, viewing and listening to early Dylan.
sounds amazing, I'm sure you have also heard Bruce Springsteen's cover of the song, it is on my page, but man how do you make the guitar sound like that, it sounds amazing. Could you share a bit about your technique???
oh yes i have! and that is excellent as well. truthfully, i just... PLAY it! i wish i could tell you. i've just studied dy;an and tried to emulate his style. that's all... it's also a martin guitar which could help. i'm sorry i can't aid you more!
Dylan butchered the chords... the songs on Another Side are all botched up, it was recorded in one night, with little rehearsal. Hardly any two verses are the same in terms of chords. Whether or not he butchered the chords is impossible to say when the original was so butchered.
And folkhippie, I'd really like you to record the live (Newport) version, and really belt it out like Bob did. If it sounds anything like Bob's version, it'll be golden.
Dude I am only a year on Guitar, learned alot watching you, Thanks. Dylan songs never get old, I love trying to play them. You ever think about doing Visions of Johanna or Talkin World War III Blues? I really think you could nail both of them. Thanks again!
everyone that says he is just doing a copy they should listen to the other original stuff he has and see the talent that is there, he is hands down one of the best musicians on youtube!!!
Excellent! Have you posted this as a video response for the Dylan week? The week is just ending but this would be welcome as a late addition. Look in my feature window for where to post.
Fantastic... one of the harder Dylan songs to cover Dylan-ishly. Voice has the right proportion of gravel and melody. Guitar was alright... I think this is the LP tab? I like the live version more. Good job, though.
That song you played at my house was really good. YOu should put it up on El Youtube-o. I dont remeber the name, something to do with pens and walls...
But yeah it was cool, so if you wanna record it ill learn that organ part.
Another great performance.

I think, if you downgraded the quality of this recording and added some tape hiss, you could pass it as "Another Side of Bob Dylan" outtake bootleg.
