@UseryHee you do know the modern consoles have fans don't you? you can do what you want but to go on using a few minor reasons (i assume you have more than dust) to knock pc gaming isn't really right. you should try pc gaming. you can use a 360 controller if you like (idk why), better frame rates (if the rig is up to the task), way more precise control with a mouse and key board. my bet is you would throw that console out in favor a good pc. just saying....
@UseryHee This isn't a console vs pc issue. Consoles also have cpus, and heatsinks, and (usually) fans, and they get exactly the same problems. Difference is it's much easier to open up a PC to clean, and doing it won't instantly void your warranty.
Actually, I was looking over my next door neighbour`s computer and boy, that thing was choked with dust just like the vid! You`d be surprised how many people have PCs that are dying and work at 20% efficiency because they just don`t blow out that dust. Women are especially bad for this.
mu cpu lies around 80 C when I am gaming. And I looked at the heatsink and I thought maybe I should clean it?!. But how much difference does it make. would my cpu go down to like 40-50 C then?
@Xearo167 i block the fans with a straw or something before using the compressed air. Compressed air makes them spin faster than the bearings are meant to handle.
vacuum cleaner doesnt have the pressure that compressed air has. and 2nd you wouldnt want to vacuum the inside of the computer since it could possibly suck up a wire & damage its connection. its always best to use compressed air since it removes stuck on dust.
thats where your wrong.. vacuum first then finish with compressed air... as the compressed air will just blow the dust deep into the sink.. but just do as i do and vacuum regularly inside the computer and around to stop it building up.
and who has easy access to 500PSI? thats WAY past a home compresser.. but again regular vacuuming with everything installed will just keep it clean anyway
Another reason why I stick to console gaming.

Them small cpu fans can be and are damaged by compressed air.. A larger fan tho however it wont hurt it. just dont do that too long

I cleaned out a friends computer when I was installing a new GPU and RAM for him. (he smokes cigarettes in his house, and near his comp)
There was this brownish blackish greyish dust that was thick and sort of sticky. Pain in the ass to clean that stuff even with a shop vac.
Don't smoke around electronics!
