  • Another reason why I stick to console gaming.

  • @UseryHee you do know the modern consoles have fans don't you? you can do what you want but to go on using a few minor reasons (i assume you have more than dust) to knock pc gaming isn't really right. you should try pc gaming. you can use a 360 controller if you like (idk why), better frame rates (if the rig is up to the task), way more precise control with a mouse and key board. my bet is you would throw that console out in favor a good pc. just saying....

  • @UseryHee This isn't a console vs pc issue. Consoles also have cpus, and heatsinks, and (usually) fans, and they get exactly the same problems. Difference is it's much easier to open up a PC to clean, and doing it won't instantly void your warranty.

  • @UseryHee noob

  • cheek out my vid to cool it down 15 degrees!! comment

  • It feels as good as watching blackheads being squeezed out

  • Mine is a AMD Phenom II X2 Idle temp is 40 C and gaming is around 60C which is still hot but alright for idle

  • @982102010 i have a Phenom II X4 3.4ghz and in gaming it dose around 45 degrees and idle 35

  • Actually, I was looking over my next door neighbour`s computer and boy, that thing was choked with dust just like the vid! You`d be surprised how many people have PCs that are dying and work at 20% efficiency because they just don`t blow out that dust. Women are especially bad for this.

  • mu cpu lies around 80 C when I am gaming. And I looked at the heatsink and I thought maybe I should clean it?!. But how much difference does it make. would my cpu go down to like 40-50 C then?

  • @draskula123 80 is very dad for a cpu clean that thing and put some as5 on it , my cpu wont cross 58 while gaming

  • OMG, how may f*kin years you haven't cleaned it DX? Mine has already 4 years and it has only some dust z.z... Sadly i cannot take care of it :(

  • my cpu is hot when cleaned completely lol. (intel centrino) up to 210 F

  • I saw a documentry about cpu's

and the said that AMD stock heatsinks/fans perform less then the Intel heatsink/fans

  • Them small cpu fans can be and are damaged by compressed air.. A larger fan tho however it wont hurt it. just dont do that too long

  • @Xearo167 i block the fans with a straw or something before using the compressed air. Compressed air makes them spin faster than the bearings are meant to handle.

  • what happen if you start spin your cpu fan than your computer is turned off?could this damage your fan?

  • dude were you gaming in your back yard lol

  • dirty heatsink = hot cpu

  • I cleaned out a friends computer when I was installing a new GPU and RAM for him. (he smokes cigarettes in his house, and near his comp)

There was this brownish blackish greyish dust that was thick and sort of sticky. Pain in the ass to clean that stuff even with a shop vac.

    Don't smoke around electronics!

  • @bongsc2 same thing here.

  • will it couse it 2 cut off the pc message me if u know if so

  • When I saw my heatsink after 3 years, it was pretty dusty but not as dusty as this one.

  • my cpu is at 10 when first boot

  • Holy shit that was a lot of dust.

  • This is pretty normal

Just look insider your own pc after 2 years using it :)

  • hi my cpu get about 46 47 without playing anything can someone help me there no dust in it and i tryed with alot of fans

  • thats normal ._.

  • Its not normal when i dont have a standard cpu cooler

  • its depends what cpu do u have...

mine dual core 2.0ghz 37 without playing anything 41-43 when play movies.....n goes 50-55 after 12 hours.....sorry bad english XD

  • really thx))is works i used just an ehhhmm lol staubsauger

  • Vacuum cleaner?

  • no as it generates static that will damage it.

  • i washed mine, and it works

  • it looks like that is the first time ur cpu seen the light

  • You may want to blow the dust outside of your house next time :D

  • wow your lucky it didn't catch fire

  • holly shit, that is really dirty...

  • Vacuum cause static.

  • why not use a vacuum cleaner?

  • vacuum cleaner doesnt have the pressure that compressed air has. and 2nd you wouldnt want to vacuum the inside of the computer since it could possibly suck up a wire & damage its connection. its always best to use compressed air since it removes stuck on dust.

  • Compressed air is best

  • thats where your wrong.. vacuum first then finish with compressed air... as the compressed air will just blow the dust deep into the sink.. but just do as i do and vacuum regularly inside the computer and around to stop it building up.

  • Yes but not if you cleaning it with 500PSI

  • and who has easy access to 500PSI? thats WAY past a home compresser.. but again regular vacuuming with everything installed will just keep it clean anyway

  • My idea exactly :)
