I actuelly found the design grew on me overtime, yeah, it looks silly (particularally in the post apokolyptic Power Rangers RPM series), but when you figure they're alive, it makes more sense. Sword, doesn't seem like a sword and if they'd named it diffrent, I'd have liked it more, but the shield, I like because he actuelly utilizes it in the series as opposed to simply being something they never used (at least I think Engine-Oh uses it, I know the High Octane Megazord does).

I actually liked Go-Onger. Sure, the Engine-Oh has it's flaws, but it isn't the worst mech in Sentai history, and it isn't as ugly as some people say it is. I have all the Go-Onger mechs except the Kyoretsu-O, which I may or may not get.

Also the engine souls for the RPM toyline are smaller and lack sounds too which stinks but at least unlike the DX Drivemax Megazord the High Octane Megazord can transform like the DX Engine Oh so you have a mix of the japanese toy with american improvements. Personally I would rather have this over the american one anyday but at the same time I respect those Super Sentai and Power Ranger fans on a budget too.

There are reasons why the High Octane Megazord lacks the eletronics due to the fact the mold is smaller than Engine Oh's, plus the economy is another reason to blame for all this, and third the engines from Go-onger in RPM do not talk neither as eva_4 unit said the american toy is a bit of a improvement over the japanese version but lacks some paint details too. Well if it were me I would want to get the real mccoy over and the real engine cells or engine souls to Sentai fans.
