From there it's usually visible shortly

You can log into your CL account and See your ads - if they are accepted they should show.

CL is mostly free but not All Free - it depends on what section you want to list and what area you post in (it varies) If it's stuff you can ship you can advertise in other areas... maybe that would help??? Getting a new acct. just needs a new email address (but they do also track the IP address) so be careful not to have too many accounts posting a lot (their software will pick up on that and your ad can be deleted) Hope that was helpful to you...

CL is very effective for advertising

however also notorious for scammers

Watch out for the scammers on craigslist. The last thing I tried to sell, I got about ten scam mails a day for weeks on end wanting me to accept certified checks for three times the amount I was selling it for. And even paypal links saying that the money was sent to my account. A great way to make some extra money just remember two little words. CASH ONLY!

I can't believe till this day that the first time I sold my computer I went by myself, but luckily the buyer was really nice and he came with his wife and children. When I sold my iPad I went with a friend and it went really well too. It's definitely safer to bring one or more friends with you when you meet the buyer.

You deal with that person directly on whatever your terms are...but please use caution every time! I'd suggest CASH (and NEVER anything pre-paid by 'certified" checks...that wind up bouncing later!!!

Also if there's a meeting - make it in a public place

OR You can log into you CL account

OR You can go to the area of the country you made the post and look for it online (if it's in a highly populated area - it may not be on the first page)...

If you don't get it - you may want to consider using a different email address such as getting a gmail account for your posts - you should be able to get the emails from Craigslist

It's not like Ebay or Paypal at all. Yes you meet them locally especially for something heavy that you wouldn't want to have to ship.

*Beware of Scammer -they are ALL Craigslist -I sold a sectional one time

and had several people offer to send me a check for more than the amount.- sight unseen - THAT'S a SCAM! Never do that -( what looks like a Certified check can be a bad one)

& be careful of who you meet, use good common sense, don't let people into your house. (Just use caution as usual)

@mastermindxyz1 its a scam if they say" Give me your pay pal number" or " I will offer you" what ever. Craigslist is for meeting people face-to-face to sell item's or respond to other ads. Just ignore them if you do get emails like that.

You can go to whatever category that seems most appropriate for tires... under "For Sale" in the city you want . It looks to me like maybe "general", autoparts or "materials"

You may give them all a try and see which works out.
