  • My father is a US Marine veteran of the Vietnam war. Like most vets of this war he does not like to talk about it with people who weren't there & has rarely done so. They couldn't tell the difference between freindly civilians & those who supported or may even be Viet Cong, A farmer in a rice paddy may be the same man who'll try to kill you that night. They tried to stay alive long enough to make it back home. This war was not fought properly by the people in Washinton in my opinion.

  • my god this is a us propaganda

  • Won at an enormous cost in human life and suffering, still, the Vietnam war is a beautiful page in the history of humanity. A great lesson on how the endurance, resolve and unbreakable spirit of a small nation was able to defeat the greatest villains/war criminals on Earth.

  • david dillinger and jerry rubin are fucking jokes.

  • South Vietnam were defeated by corruptions.Rampant corruptions.Ordinary people suffered a lot in currupt govt hands. So they have no choice but turn over to the Vietcong adn fight alongside them.

  • 35 years later, same shit different piles. (Iraq and Afghanistan)

You hear ALL the same BULLSHIT from the US administration as we did in the 60s and 70s.

  • @iceisnice61 Thankfully US is withdrawing from Iraq. Afghanistan is a different matter.

  • @Lachausis

    If it were only true.

While some troops will come home, others sent to the other meatgrinder in Afghanistan, most will have their desigantors changed, which is already happening, and will stay in Iraq. One does not build a billion dollar garrison, along with 13 "Super Bases" (w/ many support/FOBs around the country) just to pick up and leave. So it would seem the US is going to stay in Iraq for some time to come.

Health and Happiness to you in these very trying times.

  • @iceisnice61 Those bases will be manned, yes, for a while by some regiments or battalions. As for "billion dollar garrison" - remember the war profiteering. Not necessary there to stay, just some fat fucks made some good cash on US tax payers' money. Later those bases will probably be either stripped and equipment sold to some other countries, or the bases will be manned by Iraqi army. If the bases are strategically positioned, then there won't be need to build new ones, if Iraq "goes wild".

  • @Lachausis

    good morning Lachausis,

nice to swap comments with a intelligent person...

may I say I am a little more doubtful of that process but I am always hopefull so with that said...

"From your lips (key board) to Gods ears.

    all the best.

    GS

  • @iceisnice61 Seems like I insulted you in other "Vietnam, the 10 000 day war" clip. Sorry for that. Never know if you ever going to talk to a person again...

As for Afghanistan, yeah, many have been sent there already. Not the same thing. The Yanks should have fixed Afghanistan, when they had chance, instead of waging a pointless war with Iraq. Some disagree with Afghanistan, saying 9/11 was staged. But there were many bombing before 9/11, like USS Cole, embassies, Twin Towers in the 90's...

  • @iceisnice61 And since al-Qaeda was based in Afghanistan... We must ask, whether Afghans want Taliban and al-Qaeda back, whomever controls those two.

  • @Lachausis Yes the afghan public want them back. The ordinary afghansnever hated the Talibans or Al Qaeda.NATO only brought destruction to them.Villages were bombed on pretext of cleaning it from Al Qaeda.Afghanistan is fast becoming second Vietnam to US

  • @ali4330 Well, I will never consider an opinion from someone who lives in Malaysia a valid one, since you are muslims. You don't know shit. Your opinions are emotions.

  • @Lachausis Those whom your fellow countrymen murdered wer emy fellow muslim brother and sisters.I know many things over there. You westerners were nothing but bunch of animals and plunderers who had no respect to human.Look at you history.Full of plundering and oppressing others

  • @ali4330 I look at history of my country, and see nothing of that sort.

  • @Lachausis look bud you need to relearn american history. if you are any kind of smart you will come to see that he is right. watch some films by john pilger. like the war on democracy. and the taliban was doing alot better governing afganistan then we are. we are invaders there. just look in to prewar and postwar opium production.

  • @Lachausis

a BILLION dollar garrison is a BILLION dollar garrison.

The US is not leaving Iraq. period.

  • saigon was suppose to build up a 5 million man army and invade the north.

  • @Rico8458 You have Apganistan now. Kiss Taliban ass
