@ShinOnigashima I'd never heard that before but I checked on Gamefaqs and Wikipedia and it seems there is a hidden SNK superstars team including fighting game characters. If you look under 'cheats' in the Gamefaqs Ultimate 11 page it has more details. Thanks for the info! I'll have to give it a try sometime.
Oh, I checked on the MAME cheats and there is an option to play as the SNK Superstars, so I'm guessing it's true after all. They have an all black uniform and their flag is the Neo Geo logo.
Super Sidekicks 3 is way better game than this, and is very rares as well, especially the US version,..Ultimate 11, just isnt for me,.this game price is just based on rarity,...Thats all
Ultimate 11 (aka Super Sidekicks 4) came out in 1996. There's not much to choose between this and Super Sidekicks 3 but for some reason I prefer the latter. You should give Ultimate 11 a try.

I know that is an arcade system but they might have tried to attract more home users with a more in-depth game.

I'm afraid there aren't any. The football games on the Neo Geo are all relatively simple arcade games but they are a lot of fun to play.

Shame that SNK didn't make enough sport games. Neo Turf Masters, Baseball Stars and Super Sidekicks are excellent!
