I remember when we were all excited about heading down to the T-Bowl (Citrus bowl now) in Orlando to see Ozzie and Randy and the guys live.. Then my next door neighbor a Lake County Deputy came over and told me Randy Rhoads had just been killed at our local airport here in Leesburg about a mile from my home. I'll never forget that scene or how horrible I felt...and how much I miss him.. Just damn..:-(

@blehface3000 I, and most others think the exact opposite dude. He has great melodies, knew how to blend chest and head registers, his projection may be the best ever, and his tone is incredible. I've never heard anyone say his singing was boring. Many musicians and fans of all generations have said he was arguably the best metal vocalist and he's every bit as talented as Halford or Dickinson. I've never heard of a metal fan who doesn't appreciate Dio's voice, you're pretty much alone there.

Hey thanks again for letting me attach my video response (the guitar lesson for Rhoad's "I Don't Know"). It's been very helpful having it attached here. Speaking of lessons, I always recommend to new guitar players that want to learn hard rock/metal guitar, to learn Randy's stuff. Every song/solo is a lesson in itself in guitar tricks and musical theory. Plus, it's easier to play than Yngwie or Van Halen stuff. Rock on!
