great video... i have a 77 Suzuki gs750. its my first bike so i am learning as i go. so thank you... post more.. youtube needs more how to fix older motorcycle stuff on it.
Nice! I bought an OLD kawasaki - I've noticed some disturbing softness in the front forks. I'll be changing over the fork oil this weekend - and I found your video. Thanks Mr Canadian, from, Mr Australian.
I love that cool Cape Breton accent, or is it Newfoundland....
Thanks for posting the video. I've got the breaker bar and safety glasses but I'll have to find an Erlenmeyer flask somewhere, ha ha. It's great to have guys like you helping out.
Hi there, many thanks for this "how to..." I'm going to try it on my honda CB seven fifty after I find out how much fork oil goes into the forklegs....
Thanks, this perfect. I was trying to change the oil on my XJ 600s today, and ran into exactly the same problems you bring up. Shot the top cap off like a bottle rocket.... We'll see how it goes tomorrow.
well done...thx...

Fork cap torque should be OK at 22 Nm (2.2 kg/m, 16 ft lb)

@Lierwuw I forgot to mention : I believe it will make a big difference once you lift the bike up in the front so the weight is of the wheel, not?

So do you have to lift the bike up on the jack? or is it better to leave it on the ground?
