Looks very dangerous and painful. Did this patient have cancer? My fear would be that the procedure itself would spill cancer cells into the bloodstream if a patient did have cancer.

Is this using a laser, heat, or surgical instrument? a laser is not recommended for this type of surgery. Please provide more details.
