javert is pretty solid for an u/s.

I think what people are trying to say is that there isn't *supposed* to be that response of "Years?" to Javert's line.

LOL this is just funny

Not the best, but pretty good...and it's a bit amateur compared to *some*, but hey, give 'em some time. I sing badly too :P

I love that edge that Drew's voice gets when he sings, "I am warning you, Javert!"

very good, i love Drew's voice. i know richard woodford is the understudy but who is the "original" javert in this production?

That punch looked really weak.

I love Drew Sarich's voice. He was a great Judas when he was in Jesus Christ Superstar

I'm pretty sure Valjean is supposed to be th one with the knife/sword....

This is really, really poor

Its really shocking. Valjean's accent just kills the power of the song, its far to high and the timing is really bad.
:( Sorry i would be really dissapointed if i seen this.

I like Val Jean's voice.. but Javert seems a little weak in the beginning.

Their timing seems off to me...maybe it's because I haven't heard any London productions yet...hmmm...Especially in the duet bit, they sound off. :(
Nice voice those, especially on Valjean's part. Nice and high. :)

It seems like it started right on Javert's first entrance - isn't he supposed to come in on a pickup to the *second* bar, not the first?
Still, the orchestra responded well. Perhaps this production cut that measure.
6x9equals42 2 years ago
It's been a long time since they last did that first measure... I like it better this way, Javert really interrupts the emotional moment.

Drew says..."years?" after "I've hunted you across the years."
I love drew...and enjoy him in this role...but...no no no no.
mysterywhiteboy41 2 years ago 7
@mysterywhiteboy41 well isn't that the way it's supposed in this musical?
Sanitoeter666 1 year ago
@Sanitoeter666 No...there's no line of "years?" in response to Javert's line. It's pretty hilarious.
mysterywhiteboy41 1 year ago
@mysterywhiteboy41 "I've hunted you across the years" that's the way it was sung when I heard it with the original cast in London.
@Sanitoeter666 I've personally never heard a Valjean repeat "years?" after than line, but I guess that's just me.

@Sanitoeter666 No...i know...I'm saying that Valjean does not respond to javert's line with "Years?"

the end punch looks like Valjean is using kung-fu lol

And can I also say thank you :-) What a brilliant partnership these 2 are. I was lucky enough to see them a couple of times when Woody was playing Javert and they are both amazing. Thanks so much for the video.
