I was there ! Great memories of following Hawkwind,Stray,Ufo,Budgie,Judas priest,Man and the Fairies around North London circuit. Who remembers Edmonton Sundown? Btw tracks are Lucille & Bye bye Johnny
@dorianmoon me too..Roundhouse for me is as Historical to Music as is the Filmore..Hawkwind ,Fairies ,John Cipollina and Man , Canned Heat ,Floyd list just goes on...
I was there as well. Did Twink take his clothes off. I seem to recall something of that sort happening.
Later on I stuck my head in the bass bin while Hawkwind were playing and was deaf for a week.
Lady June had Lol Coxhill in her band and brought on as special guest that star of Groupie (and later The Police) Andy Summers. No wonder we booed her off.

I remember that gig.. think Lady Jane was the first time I had seen a band booed off at the Roundhouse...they went off , came back and did a good(ish) version of SilverMachine. All anyone wanted really was the Pink Fairies (and anything else that was very small and pink) then Hawkwind
Amazing. I was a big Rudolph fan and remember him offering "flying saucer trips" from the stage for a quid. He was a bit out of it by then, but still the best Fairies guitarist/singer. He now lives in his native Canada selling bicycles. Up the Pinks...
Hi Bod - I was at the gig with garrybod and we had a quick chat with Rudolph after the set - he seemed to like my home-made Fairies t-shirt - I've even still got the ticket stub - £1.50 for the full gig with Hawkwind, Arthur Browns Kingdom Come, Lady June;s Linguistic Leprocy, Gordon Giltrap and others. Great to see it again - Garry - send me copies of the photos please ... and.... Up The Pinks
The only concert in the history of PINK FAIRIES, which has excellent sound quality (not this video ..)

Up The Pinks! I'm told I saw them many times ,but I'm not sure.LOL!
I hope Larry doesn,t mind ;but IMHO Paul Rudolph is the most un-acknowledged Gun-slinging guitar player ever!

I have really been into the Pink Fairies lately.
I live in the US and no one knows who they are or were it seems. Would like to see more!
Hawkwind and Fairies are almost unheard of here and two of my favorite bands. Considered comin over to see a gig on more than one occasion.
