  • Great Peter King!!!!! The best alto sound!!!!!

  • @birdjz here, here hear.... These cats are awesome, n Peter king really can sing.

  • There's Jeff Beck and then there's 'other guitarists'. Only two kinds.

  • Really nice to hear Jeff play some blues with this guitar without effects in a very creative and interesting solo. I never knew he could play the blues like this.

When he plays blues with the strat, he really goes too far out there IMO (too many sound effects, not enough playing) .

I'm now putting on my flame retardant suit...lol.

  • @ocean4315 I have to disagree with you on the sound effects comment. Jeff only uses a wah, a leslie cab type effect and RARELY EVER will he use his ring mod. I don't mean to put ya down a bit, but many of the great blues players you hear would disagree with you. Jeff is all about playing and when he's on as Clapton says "Nobody can beat him." He's an amazing player in every genre the man touches.

  • @AxisofJustice21 I think what ocean4315 meant was that he uses every piece of the guitar to create wild sound 'effects' and I can see where he's coming from. But- that's Beck and he plays what he wants. I love him dearly.

  • sweeet! love this... it's just perfect

  • i want that guitaaaaar

  • I'd probably cream myself if I were in that room.

That's some daaaamn fine blues right there. Geez.

  • jeez..I just did..

  • most underrated guitarist of all TIME!!!!

  • I wish I could think of a better word than WOW!!! Love it.

  • sick!!!!! damn these cats can play!

  • Superb.

  • Jeff Beck...class

  • Anybody know what kind of hat Mr. Jon Cleary is wearing?

  • The mighty Peter King!

A world-class player who couldn't get arrested over here, in his own land.

  • man now this is jamming smooth love that saxy:) darlene

  • Blues down to yo shoes brothers and sisters!!!

  • that's from Red White and Blues (Martin Scorses) In this film there is also an awsome song called Rambler's Blues performed by Van Morrison.......Does anybody know where I can find this song? It's not on the Red White and Blues sondtrack.....thx

  • Jeff Beck is my favorite guitarist and a huge inspiration to my guitar playing and watching a video like this just makes me laugh, he is soo fucking good, its rediculous

  • Joder, Jeff Beck tiene una mente que me hace sentir idiota musicalmente a su lado, es que flipo con el tío este.

  • Beautiful That was the ES Jeff Beck for the BB King tour but he used a Strat instead

  • Smokin! Too bad you don't hear enough of this in the media.

  • man peter king looks like he's been livin the blues

  • Cool! I've never heard Jeff play straight blues like this

  • oh baby that nice

  • wooh that's tasty

  • Great stuff Jem!! Beck has always been one of my favorites. I almost sang with him. I was the original singer in Cactus...when he was due to come over across the Pond and join the band in late '69 when he was in that car accident.

  • this sound is under my skin!

  • can anyone tell me where to find this who dvd online or how to get it?

  • can anyone tell me how i can get this who session of dvd or cd thanks

  • This is from the DVD Red White & Blues by Mike Figgis

  • King the best..

  • Jeff Beck with LuLu on cry me a river just terrific.

  • I may not like hendrix but I wonder what a Jeff Beck/Jimi Hendrix album would have sounded like?

  • awesome is what it would have sounded like. aside from being virtuosos, both are sensitive musicians with amazing taste and great respect for one another.

  • I dont wish Jeff beck played like this more often, it's a fine blues number but then so many can do that but Jeff Beck at his craft well know one can touch him, there is only one Jeff Beck.

  • You're not listening very close to his playing. This ain't 'dime a dozen' blooz playin'. Can't you hear that he is playing with the same passion and imagination that he does when he's got a Strat and a Marshall stack? Even at low volumes, Jeff is a HOT player!!!

  • I wish Jeff played like this more often. Absolutely first class blues.

  • this jam reminds me of the old blues days, Say T Bone's era... but no that was this year... how refreshing...

  • that was o0ne of the most inspiring jamming sessions I've heard. classic chords classic jam.

  • Peter King can play anything.

  • Only Jeff Beck would play jazz through a Marshall amp and make it sound good...

  • If only jimi hendrix was still with us. +++ RIP, it would have been unbelievable to hear what he should have become today or any of his work with the artists of today like what santana did on super natural.

  • this is a whole different side to jeff.great post.

  • you could give Jeff a stick and a couple of strings and it would sound GREAT!.......again the guy loves to play.

  • Muchomerci! Now all Jeff needs is Diana Krall...8^ )

  • In my opinion Jeff is in some cases better at playing the blues than people who have souly dedicated their lives to playing the blues

  • WOW, Jeff kicks butt even with out the wammy. This is great stuff. Thanks fer postin it.

  • tastefully done..that is Jeff's middle name.

  • Nice. Very smooth!
