OK your right. Security wise FireFox did own Opera in known vulnerabilities last year according to Secunia. Firefox had 115 to Operas 30.

Size wise your correct aswell, its takes up more CPU to run than Opera.

And if you was to Google "browser speed comparison" and click the first link you find you'll see by the statics there Firefox pwnz the ass out of Opera in every test carried out. The lower the better being the key in speed comparison. I'm happy to send you links to the information.

Ahh no.. Opera sucked in all the comparison tests almost as much as IE-8...so no, Opera would never top Chrome, and needless to say Fire Fox, which owns Chrome 100 fold as much as Chrome owns Opera.

All a matter of opinion what sucks.  Opera has got everything I need in a browser so thats my first choice. Also its the most innovative browser, always coming up with new features. Firefox is a good browser due to its addons, thats about it in my opinion. Nothing else special about it.

It's possible you have a virus, spyware, etc.

The browser may be free of popup ads, but your computer isn't. A good program I have called Spybot: Search and Destroy *SHOULD* fix it.

Nope. You can download custom add ons like adblock, noscript, and the popup blocker (maybe default). I get not-a-one unless I authorize them. Firefox is truly great. Security is so necessary nowadays.

i think you should change the "no spam" part to something else ("no spyware" maybe?)- just for accuracy.

spam is an e-mail thing and your gmail and yahoo mailbox can be flooded with spam no matter what browser you use.
