Just to be clear, homophobia is NOT the fear of others who are homosexual. The official APA definition is fear of BEING homosexual.
Also, transgender is not related to sexual orientation - it is gender identification, something very different and distinct. Correct use of terms helps avoid confusion and misunderstandings.
