Interesting... I first noticed their existence only recently. They origin@ed in Sweden and have been setting up in other counties. They formed a UK Pirate Party this Summer.

As they want to work within the EU Parliament I see them as little more than a distraction and diversion, especially of the youth vote. My vote will go to whoever will take the UK out of the totalitarian state th@ is the EU ; so I'll be voting for The United Kingdom Independent Party (UKIP).

The Pirate Party is a fine idea but in the current political climate, voting for them makes as much sense as organising a picnic on a sewage farm.

There are bigger issues to address first.

Europe should not regarded as a single nation. The EU as political union is a big mistake and th@ needs to rectified first.

No, I won't take it down! I was disappointed too, when I tried to upload a couple of gre@ James Brown numbers. Like many other record buyers, I'm sick of this over zealous enforcement of copyright by the record companies ; so I've left it up as it is for discussion . . . . do you have any opinion on music copyright law?

If you don't like the replacement track, fair enough, but don't complain @ me because you didn't to read the video title properly. [Formally] . . . . etc. .

Thanks for the post and esp. the lyrics. I'm not a JB expert by any means, but the personnel listed seem strange. Dave Sanborn playing with JB in 1975? Joe Farrel and Joe Beck, really? Pee Wee on Bari, not Tenor sax?

On copyright, this does seem silly since a uTube post can drive sales. On the other hand, labels and artists have to make money or how will the content get created in the first place so you can steal or buy second hand later?

Re copyright. People who buy music will buy it, those th@ won't, won't. The companies and artists make a good living from the record buying public as it is.

i usually do get stuff second hand... i get a lot of the rare/out of print stuff online... the newer stuff i get from a friend who owns a local independent record shop . but usually, i get stuff for much cheaper than the actual price is (and sometimes was).

5 stars for the lyrics.I know the sounds lost because of WMG ,but it wasn't the sound that got this song yanked from my local Soul music radio station it was the lyrics.Some people on the Internet trying to claim that's an urban legend,it's not.I was alive and remember it disappearing.People called the station and the DJ told them he couldn't play it.

YT disabled the video because of the copyright. I still wanted the video to be seen (even though it couldn't be heard) so that the lyric could be read. When a video is disabled for copyright reasons the video poster has two options to enable the posting. Either replace the audio track or to mute/silence the track. I chose to mute/silence the track.

Replace or mute the soundtrack. Yea...well, th@ used to be the option ; not now so it appears? No 'mute' option available anymore th@ I can find? I've got my own ideas why th@ may be? Stupid record companies trying to avoid the embarrassment of easily being seen for the short-sighted greedy phukwits th@ they are e.g. like this on this post. They're losing potential sales to me. I buy odd tracks off iTunes of albums/CD's I don't yet have, but intend to buy in the future.
