Dolphin Setup Tutorial

i'm trying to play Pokemon Colloseum on my mac (yes, mac :P) I have Dolphin downloaded, I have the game downloaded as a .gcm. I've been told that .gcm is just another extension version of .iso and is basically the same thing, so I just renamed it .iso. Dolphin recognizes the .iso for colosseum (it's in the home page of the application when I open it) but when I attempt to launch the game, it just says that Dolphin quit unexpectedly :P Is there a graphics card requirement here?

wwe 12 is statred on my laptop with dolphin but whenever i tab any keys on my laptops keyboard nothing is happend that means i cant control it through my keyboard..... so can i play wwe12 with dolphin through my laptops keyboard???? or any usb keyboard...????? if ur answer is NO than plz tell me that how can i control it then??????

guys the same message 'it cant start because VCOMP100.DLL IS missing from my pc' was poppin up so i downloaded it and placed it in my emulation file but then another message occurs when i start dolphin 'the apllication was unable to start correclty (0xc000007b). click ok to close the application' and then i leave and try again- same thing, what am i doing wrong

I've downloaded Dolphin, and I've gotten past the VCOMP100.DLL error. However, now I'm faced with a "missing" SDL.dll. I can see right here in front of me that I have this installed, and in the Dolphin folder. But it's not being picked up. Any idea why?

@Shadowgamer0907 To fix this issue go to google and search for that dll. Then put it in your windows\system32, and your dolphin folder. If this does not fix your issue then you must have done something wrong.

@Shadowgamer0907 I got the same error I found out it happens because On Windows one of these errors (VCOMP100.DLL not found) is caused by a missing Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package you can get from this website

Then click on the search box and type in Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64).Make sure pick the tool and not the update its completely free n your welcome

@hbluna if it says that chances are you are using a version not made for your windows system, or whatever system you have. Or maybe the build you are trying to use is bugged. Try a few builds, and mix and match. I have dolphin that i have compiled using a few builds. If you do that however dont tell people to do what you did, or give out your creation, as it is not yours to pass off as your own. But I do recommend trying multiple builds.

Hey for dolphin to work or the wii emulator to work do you need a wii remote? fro example super smash bros brawl doesnt need a wii remote (a gamecube remote works fine) so do i need a wii remote to operate games that also work with a gc controller and do i even need that or can i just assign controls to my cpu like "m" is jump in super smash brawl

It's pretty funny, when you downloaded Dolphin, you had 14 files, when I download it, I only get 9 files. (3 folders, 1 dolphin.exe and 5 other files.) Why is that?

@Muratachi Just search the forum and download other builds of the emulator. Mix and match the most compatable plugins and run.

@TheVideoproductions1 Make sure you have up to date direct x plugins. If you have updated recently try again anyway. If this does not help try using a graphic plugin that does not run on Direct x. If this still doesn't help then maybe it is your graphics card. It is hard to help you fully without system specs.

I get jittery/missing graphics when I use the dx11 plugin. I get this when playing Super Paper Mario and Paper Mario and the Thousand Year door. But when I used the dx9plugin, it worked fine. Is my dx11 plugin not good? it worked good on my other games, but not the Paper Mario games.
