It's like Clint Dempsey plays for the US national team because he is american but plays in the English Premier League for Fulham at club level or Luol Deng plays for the Great Britain national basketball team but plays for Chicago Bulls in the NBA...
I think people in the United States will get sick of the same crap surrounding the NBA etc real soon. 2014 will be the year for soccer in America. the 2010 world cup was a success, people actually took more notice in it and realised how important it is. 2014 because of the world cup.

Because it's best to be out of debt before UEFA start bringing in their Financial fair play rules next season. With our new stadium, Wenger has built Arsenal for the future. They've been in the top flight for more than 80 years in a row and they'll be there for a lot longer with the new investment. Arsenal and Bayern Munich are set to benefit lots from the FFP rules.
gud vid m8, just a couple of points, newcastle were regulated 20 yrs b4 the 2008 season, Everton have spent the most seasons in top flight english football, and you'll be happy to hear that Arsenal have the recored for longest consecutive seasons in top flight football promoted 1919 and been there ever since.

Happiest day of my life, actually winning a major trophy for the first time in our history. But massively offset by being relegated to The Championship yesterday! :0(
One little thing you said about Newcastle United. They were relegated after a long spell in the Premier League but not 100 years. It was only about 15 years.
