your only 15 lad i was near enough the same age when i started i'll be 35 in 2 days and am still at it you've alot to look forward too BUT a word of advice your gonna have to experience the downs after the highs their not as bad as you think though just take them with a pinch of salt goodluck
Mate i am in my mid 30s. I grew up in this era. Key 103, Stu Allen, Bowlers, Kinetic the quad.
I still relive them days now. Even though i am older and have responsabilitys. I come home from work turn on my surround crank it up and get some banging old school on. It helps me clean me house and make dinner that little bit faster. My Misses dose not understand, She is An aussie. They Never experianced and never will what we had................
aaahhhh the days...........,17 yo, belfast n.i. ,most of the country h8ing and fighting, an all we wanted to do was dance.......,illegal raves in a mahoosive tent on black mountain and glow sticks. AND ORIGINAL DOVES!!!!!!!! take me back
classic tune i can feel the floor bouncing now!!! love it that people that werent even there love it, if you were there u wud really know wat were talkin about !!!, shame it ended will never ben the same underground for ever ! x
Oh wow, I think I was 16 when this came out!!! I was going clubbing every weekend from then til my mid-20s. Music and atmosphere were amazing back then!!!
@stazzy94go on fella.you are talking from the heart and saying what most of us want to say but can't as we from that amazing era are a little to old,and most of us have wives and kids now, besides a few of us would put our backs out lol.it is fantastic that someone of your age see's and understands what these tunes were all about.it's just a shame that you didn't get the chance to bee with us all you would have been a buzz to be around cheers .keep rockin fella...
Love this tune.. Takes me right back to the good old days.. Fat Sams Dundee Thursday nights and Roxannes Perth Rhumba Club.. Linning up right round the block to get in the club... TUNE...!
all time classic repeytative and get you tranced in a rythm your feet speak drop in close your eyes and soar with that beat come on old style posse lets relive that hacienda dream :~))))
hey stazzy94 come join the party bro big respect i was a big hacienda and shellys boy back in the day bro its just a felin the tunes speak we answer peace bro live the music :):)
@deejayevol yeah i'd say it came out in about 90..at the time i was about 16 and i can remember watching the hitman and her on tv. they played this a few times and i thought at the time it was the best song on it. far better than the other shite they had on.
In fact, without even opening the cupboard, I can now remember what was on the B-side. It was just the instrumental without her singing, lol. Dance n Peace! x.
Oh my goodness! I remember buying this on vinyl. The cover was a black surrounding border with a metalic silver wave rushing through the front of it. Think I'll go & get it out the cupboard and see what the B-side was like ;) Think this came out circa 1990/1 or abouts. Cheers for the UP!
@stazzy94 your not sad mate, i dance on my own in house when i,m cleaning up all the time, or even when i,m not cleaning up, i love all this music me i am 38 now and i will still be danceing to old skool until i die love it. x
i am only 15, but the emotion i feel for this music is unbelievable even if i am alone in my bedroom playing some piano house tunes, i will dance alone... call me sad i don't care this music moves me emotionally and spiritually and it always has, and i can imagine myself in 30 years time still willing to boogie to this because its pure class :)
@stazzy94 i felt the same way back in the early 90's when i would dance my heart out to this emotional piano classic when i started going clubbing, old skool dance music always had an emotional core to it as so much of it gave you a positive and feel-good vibe, clearly it does the same today as so many people associate the music with such carefree and happy times when things in the world perhaps seemed a hell of a lot brighter, it still has the power to move me today and this is a classic tune.
Hey! Glad you discovered this music. I discovered it back in 1994 when a buddy of mine played a CD from Danny Tenaglia. It was amazing. And since I have been a House Head, as they say. Back then and even now, you will not hear such uplifting music on the airwaves. Even know I keep discovering new track that were made years ago.
no need for anyone to call that sad. im 27 and when youtubing or whatever and finding great music like this which i listened to when i was 8 years old makes me get up from my chair aswell :)
@stazzy94 Nothing sad about enjoying this tune......the great thing about this era is that it will remain timeless and it set the standard for the rest to follow, nothing bad about that. Keep listening!
@stazzy94 Go on our kid :) I was bang into Paradise Garage Classics when I was your age... all my mates thought I was mental but I didn't care - dance to your hearts content :)
If you're into this you should check out some Paradise Garage music - check out the strings and piano licks in the original salsoul records stuff - you will recognise some of it from the samples used in these tunes...
@stazzy94 Get yourself to a reunion night at somewhere like Bowlers in Manchester or Zone (originally in Blackpool but now uses other venues) or search for reunion nights of well known clubs from that era. A good place to ask is a vinyl record shop selling this type of music.
When you're old enough that is (I was 17 when I first danced to this)
@stazzy94 Thats nice :) I was at the height of my party days when this one came out. It was an instant dance floor hit. I still love it. It moved me then and moves me now. Keep groovn.
killer tune, just given my 12" vinyl of this to my nine year old so he can appreciate some proper music,he'll probably say its rubbish and stick Jedward on,give me strength
Love this track I still have a mint 12inch vinyl of this even remember where I got it from .. R and d Rayners lane !

Here I am on the other side of the planet having my own lounge room revival to this davepeo's(what a legend!) channel.
Dancing around like a loon hubs and kids have to put up with it.
Current music is shite,we know what music can do to conciousness, now if we could only get real MDMA and put that in the water :)
